Steam-vac requires you to clean the carpet with a regular vacume before use.
I use steam-vac to clean those sticky stuff that can not be picked up by a
dry vacume. If you have kids, you would definitely need it. Otherwise, you
can skip it.
For a dry vacume, you can either do a bagless one or one with the bag.
Supposely, bagless vac is not as powerful as bag one. If you have pets,
there are certain vac designed to pick up pet hair.
Dyson vac is pricy compared with the US brands with similar fucnt

超市里baking货架,通常放在面粉附近。我在Fred Meyer,Top Food买过瓶装的。那种

If you use it right (don't use detergent when cleanning, heat oil first
before putting food in, cast iron is not sticky.
Amazon should have some Lodge cast iron that is cheap and very good. Cast
iron is extremely durable and you can use it for life. Only con is that
they are heavy - but you'll get used to it.

试验新买滴KA搅拌机,用的是附带的面包方子,馅儿料是综合了几个方子的结果
3/4杯牛奶,加半杯糖,1小勺多点儿的盐,一条黄油,小锅小火加热至黄油融化,糖溶
解。
离火晾至温热。
1/3杯温水融化14克干酵母(我只放了8g),3个回温的鸡蛋,上面的奶水混合物,还有
5杯中粉一起放搅拌缸里搅拌2分钟
然后半杯半杯地加面粉,加到dough starts to clean sides of bowl,再继续搅拌2分
钟(我大概搅拌了5分钟左右,面团基本扩展,能出膜的状态)
抹油的容器,发酵至2倍大,排气,取一半的面团扑粉,擀开成10*18的长方形,刷上融
化后冷却的黄油,四边留空
1/3杯浅色黄糖加2.5小勺肉桂粉拌匀,均匀撒在面团涂油的部分,手掌压一压,撒一层
葡萄干,大概半杯多点儿。然后卷起成18寸长的面卷,边角都捏紧,平均切成12份。
大半条黄油软化,加半杯黄糖拌匀,抹到13*9烤盘上,撒上切碎的pecan大半杯。放上
面包卷儿,再次发酵至2倍左右,350F, 20-25分钟至表面上色即可。
不喜欢肉桂粉味道的可以少放一点儿,葡萄干和pecan搭配肉桂,味道特别搭。刚出炉

This wok definitely has teflon coatings. That gray/blackish layer IS teflon
coatings. Today most cookware uses teflon coatings to be sticky-proof. If
you
want something doesn't have teflon, choose from the following list: iron
wok
(traditional one), glass cookware(cornings), cast iron and stainless steel.
I work for leading coatings company. Almost all metal cookware manufacturers

The pic #4 on its website. You can see a layer of coatings on its surface
based on exposure reflection. The only reason they do so is to make it non-
sticky and rust-proof. For low end cookware, that layer of coatings
definitely contains teflon. I personally won't use any cookware with
coatings on its inner surface.

这个方子是Foodnetwork上的方子,非常的简单,人见人爱.
3根熟香蕉(就是香蕉皮开始有黑斑的那种香蕉),1 tablespoon的牛奶,1 teaspoon的
ground cinnamon
香蕉用叉子搅碎搅烂,加入牛奶和cinnamon,搅拌均匀,放一边.
1杯白砂糖,1条unsalted的黄油,搅拌均匀
2个鸡蛋,一个一个的放,搅拌均匀
搅拌完毕的状态,放一边
干料:2杯All Purpose的面粉,1 teaspoon的baking powder,1 teaspoon的baking soda,
1 teaspoon的盐,搅拌均匀
下面开始把三样混合
先把准备好的香蕉倒进黄油那盆,搅拌均匀
然后把干料分次放入,搅拌均匀
搅拌均匀的状态
烤炉设置到325度,同时找个loaf pan,里面均匀喷上non-sticky spray,把面糊转移到
loaf pan里面.
烤到这个颜色,同时牙签插进去再拿出来干净的话,就烤好了.这个要点时间,你可以把厨
房清理一下.
冷却下来后就可以切块了,记住找个东西盖好,这个东西光突突的搁在外面,很容易变干,
就不好吃了.

yep, if you really fall in love with the looks you can give it a try.
The most helpful review said that the 5-star reviews are all fake and the
pan becomes sticky within two weeks.

(1) you should use 2/3 of catdd's recipe for a normal 9 inch loaf pan. Egg
amount is not important. You can get the same result with 0 egg or 4 eggs.
Egg provides additional rise but it is not really necessary if you have
effective yeast.
IMO Egg only helps when you really want extra amount of rise but if you
leave yeast dough for too long to achieve the same amount of rise the dough
may develop some sour taste. Egg only rise during baking with heat.

注意事项
As you see the method is a modified 汤种法. Same result without the mess. So
the temp of milk in step 1 is important. You need to get the milk to a bit
higher than 75C since when you pour it into the mixer's metal bowl it will
cool off a bit. I tried to boil the milk and the result is not as good.
At the end of step 4, the dough is a bit sticky, and very soft, that is ok,
no need to add more flour. You may adjust the amount of flour in step 4 to
your own taste

我做的起风蛋糕,多数情况用于做蛋糕体。两个问题
(1)很难脱模
我用的是springfoam那种,铝的,sticky的那种,10寸的。每次要脱模都很难。当然我
没有加parchment paper,一般都是晚上做好蛋糕倒扣睡觉去,第二天早上起来才去脱模
,用刀沿着边上慢慢切一圈,会有破的地方。底部也是得用刀切一圈,很容易就被切破
裂了,真的不好看,虽然是做蛋糕体,还是希望蛋糕体比较完整一些。

(2)中间还是会塌陷一些,如果保证蛋糕一点都不塌陷呢?
