因为任何可见光发光点都有半波长衍射极限，所以光学分辨的理论极限是可见光下限
400nm的一半。
STED（stimulated emission depletion），中文可译为受激发射损耗。
STED的核心思想是，用一束光斑象面包圈(Donut)的、波长比激发光略长的激光将荧光
分子的受激荧光强制损耗掉。
也就是用Donut laser强行让激发态的电子回到基态(stimulated emission)，这个过程
也会发出荧光，但与正常跃迁的荧光波长不一样，可被过滤。
于是只剩下如一根针似的荧光，在XY平面上的分辨率就大大提高了，据称可以达到50nm
以下，但在Z方向的分辨率仍没有改善。

宋的博士学位在中科院拿的，在us做了3-4 年postdoc。宋在us 待的时间太短，对美国
博士培养体制和科研体制先进之处了解得可能不够。一同面试院长的有几个candidate
文章比宋好。武大可能是看到宋在中科院当个官，搞个管理就把it请过来了。武大应该
找一个在美国拿个PhD，然后在us 做postdoc后海归的当院长。
宋自己的科研做得很好，但对宋领导一个院做出像样的改革，大幅提高整个院科研水平
不太看好。

的回复》不禁用功细读了几遍细想了几通，仍有诸多不理解和不敢苟同之处。我

之处：
1. 母其文先生用了那么多的排比句辱骂 Fred 有欠妥当。Fred 是在反驳

该挨骂的应该是那个叫陈梁的见习记者。至于陈梁再去骂谁，还请母先生明断。
2. 我不赞同母先生把诸如“异国他乡丢脸啊” “中华民族是个伟大的民民
族哟” 之类话题扯如这种一般性问题的争论交流。
3. 我不敢苟同母先生对 Fred真名实姓的索求。他的真名和我们的争论无关。

是造Capsaicin的原料。好处还不少，有抗炎止痛， 促进心血管循环，促进消化。我也
是到了美国才发现，从国内来的几乎没有不吃辣的（除了我），以前我室友， 湖南来
的， 吃饭就是西兰花加上老干妈。好处很多，当然如果有消化道溃疡的要当心，而且
也会可能对其他药物有干扰，比如抗高血压药，因为会产生catecholamine儿茶酚胺.有
兴趣的可以看看。

15个月以后，停了药和导尿管。没有并发症。第二次，9个病人，一年以后，7个病人能
通过皮肤刺激导尿，但是没有一个能完全控尿，两个病人能下导尿管。其他两个手术带
来的好处一是肠功能，二是膀胱sensation。另，这9个病人中有一个 产生了垂足的后
果。除此外，没有其他的并发症发生。
从这些数据，可以看出，
1，反射弧形成的比例相当高，第一次，2/2, 第二次， 7/9 能自主小便。
2, 不能完全改善： 第一次，2/2停了药和导尿管；第二次，0/9可以完全自主导尿，2/9下了导尿管。
3， 其他好处： 肠功能，膀胱sensation
4， 并发症，或副作用，第一次， 0/2, 第二次： 1/9 垂足。

谢院士对Fluorescence和SERS需要用的label深恶痛绝，所以独辟蹊径，利用
stimulated emission在vibrational state上实现了label-free imaging，号称
stimulated Raman scattering microscopy，在stimulated emission下观测Raman信号
的减少来定位分子。因为这个信号减少量很小（10^-4），所以需要用AOM调制去噪。 |
