标 题: 哭：博士后半年了，一篇文章都还没有submit。。。

我今年4月份博士毕业，来到现在的这个学校干博士后，2年半的合同，已经作了半年。
现在整体感觉是，项目本身很有意思，但是我的顶头上司很烂。大老板基本是事事不问
，只管行政，管我二老板是主要指导我干活的，但是他总是东一榔头西一棒子，没头没
脑，还特别fussy，不管干什么活，他都能给出100个计划来，一个一个挨着试，最后弄
得大家都不知道该怎么办。时间花上了，不出成果的例子挺多的。没有听说他跟谁干活
出文章特别多的（其实他本什么也没有他是住负责人的项目，都是co负责人。
来到都半年了，写了一篇文章，基本靠的全是自己的和其他同事的主意，二老板在里面
根本没有什么特别的贡献，他还趁着别人都不注意的时候，把自己改成了最后作者。现
在他又这个想法，那个想法的，不知道到底什么时候能投稿。估计再过六个月吧，鬼知

re-submit的问题，如果按我拿到phd学位的时间，明年一月中旬就4年了，是赶不上明
年2月份的resubmit deadline了。但是如果按我开始博后的时间算，倒还是在4年以内
的。
各位老师有没有经验，像我这种只有一月时间差的情况，PO会同意允许resubmit么？还
有就是想听听各位的意见，就算允许提交，这个分数还有没有必要折腾？ |

前问过各位老师关于JIT的事情，也在ERA网站上JIT链接上面看到了一条
notice:除非NIH要求，否则不需要提交JIT材料。
今天突然又收到了NIH发来的一封信，是自动发送的，不是PO直接发的，还抄送了我们
单位的grant office。一下子心里又痒痒起来，各位老师能不呢过帮忙看看是不是还有
希望？

weeks. One senior professor suggests me wait until the next cycle. His
reason is that I won't hear the decisions before the next deadline so if I
didn't get the funding this time, I might miss the next deadline.
Does this make sense? Should I wait or just submit this cycle? 大家什么经验

sell a rule that will guarantee your grant will be funded. Nevertheless,
there are still certain rules that you need to follow to INCREASE THE CHANCE
. For instance, one rule I always follow is never submit a grant when you
don't feel ready.
The same principle applies to the way you write your grant. Making it

发帖数: 486 | 18 这个问题非常常见。在 reviewer panel里经常看到这样的情况，某某proposal A0没中
，A1 came back with a Nature publication based on the proposal. 结果
reviewer说，你这都发了，剩下的都是些 incremental的东西，杀之。
还有的情况，尽管applicant没列他proposed的东西已经发了（因为在submit的时候确
实也没发）但reviewer在审proposal的时候已经是几个月后的事了。有经验的reviewer
会去pubmed查applicant最近发了什么文章，结果发现applicant基于这个proposal的文
章昨天刚在 science上online,然后把这文章仔细读了一篇，发现有一部分己经做了（
很有可能是 journal reviewer要求做的），于是杀之。
所以确实有人把要投的文章压在那儿不发，但这只适用于那些CV上不缺文章的人。但现
实是，对多数applicant来说，文章record是短板，很难做到这样。 |

意见比较负面，这种情况下是address all comments 然后按照上面的提示transfer 到
下一个档次的journal， 还是 submit it as a new manuscript好？我们大概能够很容
易address 一半多点的major comments, 这样似乎省了review的时间，但是后者的好处
是editor不会知道这些负面的comments， 却不知新的reviewers 会提什么意见。看了
生物版上说hold住别人的东西然后自己赶紧做再把人挤掉的 很多例子，担心拖得太久
，被reviewer中的人抢先发了，纠结中。有多少可能和下一个档次的journal editor

“整”之前全部上交到内部网里。Then they can take "their time" reviewing
everything, checking the budget (Yes, I make the budget myself, as well as

regulations), asking for signatures and approvals from people who should NOT

请问有经验同仁，怎么上传文件？是通过我的Fastlane系统自己上传，还是必须让学校
的research office上传？
