想确认一下,如果我2009年中开始炒股,赚的钱按照30%的flat rate超过$1000,也就
是own的tax超过$1000,但是因为2009年换了工作所以2009年的withholding比2008年全
年的tax要高,是不是就满足了第二个条件而不需要在一月15提前缴税了??
第一年炒股实在没经验,之前也没上心,发现deadline过了才想起来,哪位大牛指点一

rim的方法可以总结为:
1)Negative Enterprise: 简单来说,就是手上的cash多过debt。复杂点,就是:
Stocks that have excess cash far outweighing debt but are viewed negatively
by the market.
Enterprise value accounts for debt and subtracts the excess cash from the
equation. If enterprise value results in a negative number, the conclusion
is that the company is loaded with excess cash, hence a cash rich company
trading for less than it’s value.

6% to make it worth while. for Net rent return.
Last couple of years, you can get close to 10% for Net Rent return, right
now, the price had been going up quite significantly, very difficulty to
find over 7% in my area.
You probably have to subtract another 1% for house related cost per year. |

Can I subtract air-ticket and hotel from $1000? Which form?
She still can get $5000 treaty in her OPT (after 4.5 year F-1), right?

and both 1042S in Line 7, then on Line 21, subtract 5000. Enclose 8833
explaining the treaty benefits and why you qualify. You may also mention
that you received two 1042S and how did you calculate Line 7.
After all, it saves IRS guy time if you explain it succinctly and clearly. |

it is listed in box10 on one W2 but not listed at all on the other. Also,
according to Tax Cut, the 2000 in box10 indeed increase my total tax payout.
So i am not sure whether my company is wrong (it should be listed) or my
wife's company is wrong (it should NOT be listed) or the Tax Cut is wrong (
it doesn't matter whether it is listed).
