negotiating the terms.
Usually, it is hard to negotiate with a blanket "package" number. It is
generally easier to ask for more stocks and sign-on than base.
If you get leveled T4 at G (fair for phd+3 unless you were superstar and was
killing it in the interview), it is likely you will get similar level and
package at other companies. |

来美之后的第一个圣诞，和老公决定出游LV，事先做了很多功课，查背景打地图搜攻略
，提前一个月定了bally’s的旅店，买了两本《American Casino Guide》。假期到来
，背包出发。
早就听闻LV的大名，“结婚之城”、“罪恶之城”、“度假胜地”……诸如此类。每个
人对LV的期许不同，我们从未有过一夜暴富的梦想，所以这场旅行只是假日休憩，感谢
赌城，让我们轻松前来，尽兴而归。
汽车驶入内华达州，高速公路两侧的绿色开始褪去，绵延不绝的流沙之上，多刺的沙漠
植被茁壮生长。透过车窗看得见干净纯粹的蓝天白云，耀眼的阳光打在脸上，内心的浮
躁沉淀下去，遥远的古意浮出来。想起金戈铁马，想起大漠孤烟，想起撒哈拉的三毛，

发帖数: 1831 | 23 我上周没抢到fisher price那个grand piano后，一气之下买了这个，现在amazon上on
sale，$29.99。不过后来grand piano的deal又活了我就两个都买了。说说review吧。
6个月娃第一天玩的时候，高兴地嗷嗷直叫，跟第一次看到气球一样兴奋。不过第二天
就不太兴奋了，差不多能玩5-10分钟然后就没兴趣了。我们一般每天拿出来玩2次。我
觉得可能是宝宝还太小的原因，她坐在bumbo chair上勉强可以在镜子里看到自己。我
觉得等娃大点儿可以跪着的时候玩可能更有趣。
Grand piano今天到了，我很喜欢这个玩具，娃第一次玩了10分钟，也是有点儿高，没
有玩superstar那么兴奋，不过还是左右开弓的弹，呵呵。我本人挺喜欢grand piano，
觉得娃大点儿应该很好玩。 |

发帖数: 1269 | 28 投行都会严令禁止员工向外公开收入，所以这些数字都是道听途说加夸大其辞。楼主说的随手几百万美金的无非是自抬身价罢了。
国内的钱其实也不是那么好赚。楼主说的数字，在大于20万的部分打个3-5折，可能会接近事实一些。而且公司越大，数字越稳定。
有时3-5个人攒个小投行，帮一个福建/浙江小老板搞上市，有可能狠捞一笔，不过不能作为行业代表。
投资公司给工作了3年的VP级开300万美金的奖金，可以说有些开玩笑了。Superstar 的酬劳是不能用年级来看的。邓小平27岁当军长，不说明你我22岁就该当师长。
基本上所有国家的监管机构都在打压金融业的报酬。而且，市场有供求关系的规律---一个MBA出来3-4年的小兵，没有资本家会傻傻地给你百万美金年薪的。

赞不绝口。这几年都有人托我在美国买。我一个台湾朋友也是那样。她亲戚打电话托她
买几双给他们的孩子。classic的款式的话，男的穿可以百搭（不过要那种长得阳光一
点的哈）
它家自从金融风暴原本那个CEO太过ambitious,扩展production capacity太厉害差点财
务有问题过后，换了个新的CEO，属于稳健经营型的。只要他在，生存大概不成问题。
不过他没有以前那个CEO的 marketing flair,所以大概要再成为superstar,比较困难.
目前新的产品里面还没有个可以代替它家原本的core products, chameleon 据零售报
道说是“flying off the shelf" .还新。得看看是不是有sustained momentum. |

了，$5开始。$21+多我已经卖了。。所以是错过了LULU这些superstar.
不过凡事总要有个开始啊。现在不买，并不代表以后没机会买lulu啊。功课做好，真的
有机会的时候才抓得住。就算最后买不成，这些对行业的了解对以后其他选股是有用的。
而且在股坛，大部分群众，股票静悄悄的时候，怎么分析，都是没人相信的。就像CROX
$5的时候。我说过几次吧，没多少人会相信会有兴趣，都觉得是个破鞋，我印象中只有一个在trader1688的人跟我说他看了我的博客$5+买了。都是要等到
炒高了，大家才会有兴趣。 |
