wise. Besides, China's economy is based on low tech, but Taiwan's hi tech.
How can China help? It can not even send legions of tourists to Taiwan, as

But the situation was worsened DRAMATICALLY last month (Nov.). Look at the
table. The November, 2008 unemployment rate was 4.62% (which was translated
into half a million Taiwanese unemployed), whereas the number a month before

In Taiwan, I do not know except from hte news. In US, there is Women's Study
, Black Study and so on, beside porn course. Porn is a 10- to 14- billion-
dolar industry in US. And the mainstreaming of porn brings many women and
some men to shave down there. (Where do you think the trend come from?) Not

You'll find it easy to come back to work for one of the big-4's in U.S.
after you gain some work experience.
Plus, the international experience is always a plus in your future career
development.
Salary is low, but it should cover your living cost in Taiwan. And you'll
get great food and maybe catch up with your relatives, your old classmates
and friends.
I think it worth a try.

所以住在一边的人就倾向用Taiwan而非ROC…

台湾人尤其是台湾知识分子,根本没有对China的认同,我去台北开会两次,没有见过
一例有主动使用ROC的,更不要说China了。去中国化,强调Taiwan的主体意识,这可以
算是台湾学界的共识。
其实我觉得rao这次过了,明知道没有结果绝不会讨好的事情。联合国大会上可以讨论
这种问题,但是不可能要求杂志全部统一标注,不会有人支持的,太政治化了。
