具体情况。
最基本情况，请务必回答：
1：在什么区

2: 家草是什么草
热带草比较常见的是 Bermuda, St Auguestine.
寒带草比较常见是 Tall Fescue, KBG, Rye
不知道可以把你的草贴出来让大家认一下。

补充问题：
3: 多大。
（示范) 前院 900 sqt feet. 后院 400 sqt feet.
4: 浇水的系统，频率，数量。
（示范）
自动地下系统，前院 3 个喷头，后院9 个，分成 3 个区。
一星期两次。 总共每星期 1 inch 水量。
5: 割草频率，高度。
（示范）
每周一次，切到3.5 inch.
如果是问杂草的，请告诉杂草种类。不清楚可以贴照片。
需要大特写，容易辨认。

发帖数: 7142 | 2 这个 scott 特别讨厌，光买牌子一点都不提到底是什么草在里面。
我猜还是 Tall Fescue 吧。你那里种 Tall Fescue 正合适。
overseed 要把草剃光头，最好用比较软的rake 把死草搞掉，
露出土壤。不搞掉也行，但是发芽率会低些。可以撒一点
top dressing. 不洒问题也不大。那些原来的草会抓住土壤
新的草籽不太容易吹走。其他的和种新草一样。
再高一点可以割第一次了，鼓励长根。 |

Bermuda is even less.
Bermuda, St Augustin & Zoyia grass are the most popular
warm season grass in US.
Tall Fescue is cool season grass. |

你家的草应该是那些 annual 的或者是热带的草开始黄了，我们家的
霸道的Bermuda 现在也开始有地方黄了。
第三张好像是 Tall Fescue.
现在天气已经太冷了，你要等明年才能 seed 新草了。
你可以全部 nuke 掉重新种或者 overseed.
overseed 效果远远不如 nuke 掉好。

I could be wrong. I am sure it is the best for you.
If it is really good, it should show up in the NTEP programs.
BTW, your favor marathone does not have Rhizome. Which means
they will not spread or self repair. Over time you need to
overseed them to make sure the thickness. It is a common weakness
in the old fashion tall fescues. The other one is yellow patch. |

的确没有十全十美的。但是我估计正确培养 Tall Fescue 的根的话应该还是
很抗旱的。但是要能狠得下心来 stress 那个 Tall Fescue 刺激长根。这个
分寸要比较精确掌握，要是过了草就开始黄了。要是不够草就偷懒不长根。
我现在就在慢慢加长浇水的间隔。我看看过了这个夏季跟大家汇报我魔鬼训练
出来的结果吧。但是春天又有稀疏的地方 overseed. 这个两全比较难啊。
我现在已经拖到 4 天浇一次了。以前惯坏了，两天浇一次都有意见。 |

你有没有拔出来照个放大的照？
我在我家草坪里找 Poa 和 CG 就是靠颜色，颜色浅的从来没有什么好东西。
我觉得 in doubt, pull first, ask question later. 你这个种类明显不一样，
就算是 tall fescue 拔了也不可惜。
你的割草可能有点高。我看到都是割到尖一点点。割完了草地平么？
如果割完了还是很多鼓包那说明割的太高。虽然割得高是好事，但是
很多草没有割到也不好。 |

时候也和 KBG 差不多高。看叶子就能看出来。 KBG 的叶子尖是

一般是其他草长得不好了， Poa 才有机会霸占地盘。
个别 Poa 在好的草坪冒出来还是有可能的，但是一大片的一定是原来的草
有点什么维护的问题才会让位的。
在家里这个环境 Tall Fescue 容易被 Poa 入侵。在野外 Tall Fescue
和可以长很高，Poa 没有阳关没有营养就抢不过了。 |

我怀疑是 bentgrass, 我在别人家的草坪有见过类似的杂草，
没有确认。
也有可能就是 Tall Fescue, 但是你拔那几根不是很典型。
Tall Fescue 一般叶子出在比较低的地方，这个好像很高的

I have 4 different speicies, leafs, flower, size, blooming period are
different. the smell are same.
the youngest is a small leaf gardenia ( gardenia radica spell? ), it is very
low growing , 2 feet height, more than 4 feet wide.
the other 3 are big leaf variety, 1 grows very tall, around 6 feet. the

难的，还是去买几包草地在秋天时候做overseeding吧。
tall fescue见效快，但是长得更快。以后你会后悔的。我现在就在琢磨着怎么样把草

介绍的方式不太一样。我会简单讲下我为什么要这么做，主要
都是为了减少杂草发芽破坏新草坪的成长。还有我会尽量简化
掉不需要的步骤，减少资金投入。 反正我的方法是至少
有一个成功例子的。
先决条件，如果这些条件不满足，就不要考虑用这样的计划。
1）草坪要有自动的 irrigation system. 可以是临时的，但是
浇水要均匀。最好有可以编程一天超过 3 次喷水的那种控制
器。
2）要可以忍受草坪有几个月的时间完全秃掉，没有草的状态。
如果你不可以忍受，或者 HOA 不允许，那就不要考虑这个计划。
准备工作要有几个月。工作量其实不大，但是要细致。
3）可以接受使用 round up 来全部灭掉杂草。

天还是比较热, 还好大概一两周会下次雨，所以倾向于Tall Fescue。不过领导倾向于
Zoysia，因为担心要经常浇水。我想我要是把地整好了，其实是相对可以说好浇水的，
而且我家侧院有的地方太阳没有6个小时，怕到时候长不好，而且到了冬天有的地方绿
有的地方黄太难看。

可能是KBG为主的，因为叶子看起来还比较细。
我有去年剩的tall fescue，可以用来overseed吗？还是去买新的kbg？我喜欢tall
fescue省水，但有觉得会不会俯视的时候缝隙多不好看。

Tenacity is safe for use at or prior to seeding on Kentucky bluegrass, tall
fescue, perennial ryegrass, and centipedegrass. Application at seeding can
be made to fine fescue only if it is less than 20% of a seed mixture.
据俺今年的经验的确如此。药下去一周后撒草籽没问题，等新草出苗又是两三个星期了
，不会被药伤害了。至少KBG和Tall Fescue很安全。fine fescue不行，连撒两次后，
俺地里的fine fescue全阵亡了，虽然撒第一次的时候还是安然无恙的。
