In the spirit of Father’s Day, it seemed only fitting that I write a post
highlighting some of the terrific lessons I’ve learned over the years from
my dad. I’ve already written about this a bit in my post about 5 Mentor
Archetypes, since my father is the quintessential “Advisor” – always
there in my corner with a story, idea, or tip to help me. I featured a few
of his lessons in that post, such as “Always wear your nametag on the right
.” That way, ...

field based on skills you taught them?

I heard this place from Friend's referral. Since this school is a kind of
famous in Chinese community, I send my kid to the school without second
thought in 1/2014.
Now I want to share some of my experience:

1 Purple, Level 2 Blue, Level 3 Green etc. But I found normally if you kid
are new to their school, they will put your kid into purple cloud. I see kid
form 4 years old to 7 years old all into Purple. The younger one...

YOU OWN YOUR SPACE: Tips from a former bike courier on staying alive as a
Toronto cyclist
On this particular afternoon, it’s really easy to vicariously relate
ourselves (or our loved ones) to the woman who was crushed to death on
Dundas West and Sterling earlier today. It’s easy to think, “Wow, that
could have been me instead of her.”
Well, it wasn’t you, and be glad for that. Dwelling on the “could have
beens” is of no help to the victim, her fam...

Jim Harbaugh: Trestman "taught me everything"
San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh said Friday that new Chicago Bears
coach Marc Trestman "taught me everything" when they were on the Oakland
Raiders coaching staff, and he still uses many of Trestman's techniques.
"Everything wouldn't be an overstatement," Harbaugh said Friday on "The
Waddle & Silvy Show" on ESPN Chicago 1000. "We use his system still of
calling plays and the way he taught us those concepts and techniques. I've
used (those) sin...

The Best Language for Math )
Sept. 9, 2014
What's the best language for learning math? Hint: You're not reading it.
Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Turkish use simpler number words and express m
ath concepts more clearly than English, making it easier for small children
to learn counting and arithmetic, research shows.
The language gap is drawing...
