搬到cary后的2个月，零零散散得在著名的American Tobacco Trail（ATT）上骑过自行
车，想着什么时候，要是能从起点骑到终点，是不是也是一种难忘的体验？近来诸事不
顺，决定需要做些事情，一是举办party，二是试着骑完ATT全程；试图扫除心中所有的
阴霾。

加拿大烟草生产商协会(Canadian Tobacco Manufacturers Council)的报告称，加拿大国内每年卖出约130亿元非法香烟，造成政府直接税收损失约20亿元。“人们认为买走私烟虽然犯法，但不会伤害别人。是的，它让我们损失税收，但这些钱又被用于有组织犯罪。有组织犯罪分子利用走私烟的销售收入贩卖武器和毒品。”全国反走私烟联盟(National Coalition Against Contraband Tobacco，NCACT)的会长格兰特(Gary Grant)说。
NCACT最近做了一个调查，发现在高校周围捡到的烟头中，30%是非法烟。
枪支管控联盟(Coalition for Gun Control)的库基尔(Wendy Cukier)说，有证据显示非法香烟同毒品和枪支贩卖有联系。他说，强化边境管理，随机搜查减少了这些非法活动的发生，但究竟有多大比例的非法香烟收入被用于毒品和枪支贩运仍是个未知数。
