春节前我国内朋友联系我，说她孩子在哈佛医学院参加过一个官方项目，在实验室实习
，现在想再过去，看有没有门路。我在波士顿这么多年都没听过有这事情。后来听她说
同项目的有好几十个人，来自国内好几个一线二线学校。我就替她写邮件问HMS和
Harvard，结果根本没这个项目。
我后来跟这个孩子聊，才知道这个项目是Dana Farber一个Tong姓博士后组织的。她以
哈佛的名义向学生索要注册费，向学生索要高额的房租，却把他们安排在Quincy,
Malden这种偏远的地方。找了好几个人问才知道，这个Tong姓博士后原来是哈佛的phD
，在这个项目里她连自己母校的本科生都不放过。从每个学生身上她最少也能赚个两三
万，轻轻松松成百万富翁了。
千老们就好好学学吧，别整天埋着头做实验。 |

不觉得
最有成就的华人教授zheng根本谈不上,一个土耳其人开创性的指出了mimo的容量
zheng跟在人家屁股后面把单天线的data rate和performance的tradeoff这个冷饭在
MIMO里面热炒了一下,没有提供任何new的insight和new technique
再把grassmannian manifold在mimo里面套用一下,做个花架子,这个也叫创造?
你不会naive到根据zheng的mit判断他就是比在其他学校的人牛x吧?
Tong就更不用提了,完全是个follower,什么hot就跟着什么小打小闹一番
如果要提通信里面最优成就的华人,根本轮不上zheng,tong,甚至他们的老板都没资格
我想华人最牛的一个当然是现在在香港中文大学的Yeung,他的network coding是真正semin

l的工作,是我见过的华人里面对通信最大的贡献

. Here there was no room at all for productive day-dreaming. Tian's talk was
extremely technical, very dry, and the transparencies were typed with small
font, that probably made it hard to follow even for the ten or whatever

made him take female hormones as part of a "training program."
According to Jiang, this was to make his traders more effeminate and less

。预约的时候第一次打电话忘记问保险的事情。又专门打电话过去问是不是接受我这样
的保险。可能当时我问的也有问题，应该问是不是能全cover洗牙。结果人家说只要是
PPO都可以。反正我觉得他们有点误导我的嫌疑。今天收到账单。153刀要自己出。打电
话给保险公司，人家说Dr. Tong不是他们的network里面。所以要自己出钱。郁闷的很
。只能忍了。以后提醒大家注意这个问题，一定要先问清楚了。 |
