equate to "no irritation". It just means the damage caused by the material
is not what people normally notice. Normal body function will be damaged
in on way or the other, that's how toxins kill you. When applied to

1）转基因的安全性，如你所说，谁也不能百分百的打包票将来不会出问题。关键在于
这种东西给你带来了什么价值，什么方便之处。这种tradeoff是否合理？如果没有这种
东西的话，什么是alternative？
BT toxin取代的是农药。你是要吃９９。９９９％无毒的BT呢，还是要吃１００％有毒
的农药残留呢？
也许你说，农药我能洗干净，BT不可能洗掉。
好吧，至少BT省掉你洗菜的时间。
而且自然界的鸟类不会洗菜，人家多半想吃BT，不想吃农药。
2）关于实验。证明一个东西不安全只需要一个确定的结果，证明一个东西完全安全是
不可能的。
３）这个领域的确很政治化。如果孟山都压制一些结果和一些实验，我不会觉得奇怪。
这种事情大药厂也有，政府也有，人性而已。我同时相信它做BT的出发点是做一个

水便说说我能想到的技术层面吧。
chemical entity:
小分子药物，集中在癌症、感染、CNS、细菌/病毒等方面，还是有的可做，同时不断有
新的target出来，不断有nature prod出来，但受专利的影响（过期和剩余的chemical
space），大多都是在维持生计。在临床阶段对于试验病人的筛选，以后必将维持下去
。相应的试剂诊断盒业务，大公司为了利润和专利，倾向于自主研发或者收购这些诊断
盒，所以会有大的发展，类似invitrogen的公司。
大分子药物（theraputic toxin），应该在未来有大发展，基于专利和市场的考虑。只
是其价格、稳定性和进入人体的方式，不如小分子方便。至于personalisation，就是
根据病人自身的情况通过克隆和筛选得到最好的个人用药，我觉得需要等待技术上的突
