昨天跑了PR 5K,今天的目的就是距离而不是速度。之前一口气最长的距离是10K,其实
中间还因为遇狗而停下来走了一
阵。
incline设定为2,热身1mile,然后8.3mph开始跑,一口气跑了7.25mile,包括热身的
1mile。想看看自己10K大概可以
跑多少,所以跑了这个数。最后1mile不停的增加速度,最后一圈用10.x的速度跑的,最后
减去热身1mile的时间,10K大约用了44min。
在4.x miles的时候,小腹有些痛,感觉也很累。那个时候就注意高抬腿以及paw back
。在过了5 miles之后,就如同进了
cruise control的状态,感觉可以一直跑下去。结束之后,也没有像昨天5K之后的那种
all out的感觉,至少不需要蹲下一
会来恢复,这是我个人判断自己劳累程度的一个重要标志。
很happy,因为这是目前为止一口气跑过最长的距离了。明天可能jogging一下,周日争
取路跑long run,这周的mileage
新高指日可待了。 |

6-8 MILES @ 9mph on treadmill was a good memory for me. i only manage 60min
hard run at 7.2mph few days ago.
for 1st timee, i stepped up 8.4mph 60min yesterday, more than happy to know

simulate the elevation profile of any race course. For example Boston
marathon has a lot of downhills in the first half, then some uphills and
downhills in the second half. It's not that easy to find a route nearby
having the similar elevation profile. |

just came back from the beach. it was 90F out. In fact, after the 4.6 mile
run in 95F heat yesterday, this
morning when I started running on the treadmill I sweated more than usual. I
suppose this is my body's
mechanism to adjust to the heat -- starting to sweat at lower core
temperature. |

completely different. My mind is set to
keep the pace, and my goal is to complete 20 miles, boring or not is
irrelevant. A nice thing about the gym I'm using
this week is that it is okay to workout without a shirt. I was sweating so
much that I was practically spraying
all over the treadmill. |

发现自己很少主动paw back。在treadmill上自然的向前送,有种飘过去的感觉,所以
很轻松。但是到路上,肯定需要加paw back,或者步幅就会更小,所以就会觉得累。
另外,发现最近基本全在跑步机上跑的,太纵容自己了。应该多跑点室外。 |

your feet and record your cadence instead of HR signal from your HRM |

easy: 1 hour, 2-6% random incline, 7.5mph
quality: 1 hour, 2-8% random incline, 8mph,
or 1 hour, 15% incline, 5-5.2mph.
occasionally, I do something like 2 x 10-15 min, 10-12%, 6.5-7mph, in the
midst of a one hour run. |
