baseline EKG and echo done first. Patient can not start the exercise test if

六点多下班去gym,准备跑 6 x 800m interval. 每次要跑interval都是又喜又悲。喜的
是全力冲刺的快感,爽!悲的是interval后程痛不欲生的惨状!
所有treadmill都满了,十台电视只有一台在直播AO,而且是豆豆的比赛!刚好正对这电
视的treadmill上是个hot girl,我就悄然地站在斜后方等,做做warmup,有球看的时候
就欣赏豆豆,,广告时就欣赏mm曼妙的身段,简直是一大享受呀~~
没多久,mm下来,到我上了。我warmup了 1 mile,就开始加速跑interval。这时豆豆的
比赛也很快结束,开始转播Radwanska的比赛了。。。我跑着跑着,都忘记是第几个
800m了,总之就是快要死掉的感觉。就在这时候,只见Radwanska一挥拍,突然拍子不

该输的输了,有机会赢的也没赢,不该输的也差点输了,
终于体会到不真正打球还是不行的,
在场上抓不到节奏,总是追着球跑,
糟的是经常追不到,

is within HM range.
One side benefit from treadmill is it helps you losing weight, since you
sweat like hell on treadmill.
The best example is of course hill running, you just can't beat treadmill
for avoiding injury. |

I am little unusual here: with the same speed and no incline, I usually feel
easier running on road than on treadmill. I feel that treadmill pushes me
for higher stride frequency, but on road my stride is slower and more
natural. That is why I never do > 9 mph on treadmill, the feeling is just
strange.
Probably my treadmill also needs lubricate. |

for that long.:) There are several people besides me on this board who have
done 20+ milers on the treadmill.
The greatest female marathoner of all time, Ingrid Kristiansen, did a lot of
her winter training on the treadmill. Haile Gebrselassie and Kara Goucher
also use treadmills in their training, but presumably for recovery sessions
mostly. |

我和你相反,我在treadmill上跑(加1%的坡度)比较轻松,我觉得主要原因是gym里有
空调,treadmill上有小风扇,最重要的是,对我来说节奏很关键,treadmill上速度衡
定,把音乐打开,开始10钟最累,之后建立了节奏,踩着点跑,就进入到一种完全无感
的状态,好像一直跑下去都没问题。而在户外跑,路面起伏,又加上不方便听很大声音
的音乐,就从来没有达到过treadmill上的那种状态 |

先从treadmill开始,我是从treadmill开始跑的。主要是一上treadmill,心理上,你就
很难下来。不管快慢,等你可以坚持在treadmill上跑30分钟,或者可以跑3 miles的
时候,你就可以到室内的track上跑。等你在track上可以坚持跑30分钟的时候,你就
可以跑室外了。

d*****o 发帖数: 2868 | 17 俺自己还算fit, bmi around 21. 虽然没有特意的为了跑半马训练过,但去年9月份在
banff那边hiking, 一天camping睡5,6个小时,然后走个15mi的上下坡也没啥事儿。为
了stay in shape, 也断断续续的在treadmill上跑了将近2年。只不过很多时候跑了1个
小时, 不管速度多快, treadmill就停了, 所以至少mentally就不想再跑了。
最近在版上看了50多岁的大妈半马都能都能在1:50之内,弄的让我这20多岁,也快奔3
的小伙心里痒痒的要命。只不过我觉得上班族,一天在外面几乎要飘10个小时,回到家
很多时候懒的再在treadmill上玩命,也就是周末没事的时候跑一下。可有些时候去加
班,或者有其他事情,又不跑了。
当然如果真的想做一件事情,我上面说的都是excuses, 用英语说just do it。 不过跑
步这东西就算不跑又如何?
话说大家都是怎么说服自己每天,每个星期坚持训练的?俺多多少少的还是想跑一次

这周罕见的热得要死(90F), 周日右腿又有点不舒服,off了...
游泳短距离似乎不能提高了,还是先老老实实的练练距离吧,
短距离的速度提高应该也是长期练习的一个成果之一...
从时间上比,100米游泳大致相当于跑步的400米,并不是纯无氧运动... |

是我自己的经历。本人33男,体型偏瘦,爱好运动(以篮球和健身为主,每周3到5次)
,生活和饮食都规律。从不吸烟喝酒。
症状:
去年秋天在健身房锻炼,练了几组卧推,都是到自己的极限的。练完之后觉喘不上气,
胸口闷(但不疼),脑袋有点飘,有种想大便的感觉,但没有昏厥。老婆在身边,说我
脸都白了。坐下休息15分钟左右才恢复。但有两个前提:1)这天健身房空调坏了,异常
的闷热。2)我回国了一阵,有一小段时间没有锻炼。这次似乎有点一下子练得太猛了。
同样的经历在四年前(09年)有过一次。也是工作忙有一阵没系统锻炼,见到一片跑道,
一时兴起,跑了两组100米全力冲刺。跑完后也是脸变白,胸闷,有种想大便的感觉,
但上了厕所却大不出来,就是感觉大口呼吸但氧气不够,歇了大概20分钟才缓过来。当
时岳母根据经验怀疑我心脏不太好。
有了这两次经验,我于去年12月去本地医院检查。当时做心电图显示我有Second
degree A-V block (Type II)--(Marked sinus Bradycardia, Abnormal rhythm)。于

incline轻轻走路而已。不过效果倒很好,而且不耽误时间,趁看电视的功夫就把
workout给做完了,我很喜欢。谁知道,第一天走就被楼下的老墨邻居给投诉了……于
是我想法和邻居沟通,带着花和cookies去敲门,问他有没有个可以接受的时间能让我
走路的,他却大大咧咧地说:it's OK! 然后我又说那我保证不在9点之后运动影响你们
休息,他又说OK。最后我说你们要是还觉着不爽,就上楼来告诉我一声好了,他也答应
了。我以为我们达成了agreement,就心满意足的回去了,继续锻炼。
可是好景不长,就在treadmill刚过了退货期的时候,气势汹汹的女管理员来敲门,说
楼下今天打电话跟她complain了,说我们用treadmill和走路重,他们无法睡觉(其实
我已经三天没用过了)。我自然很惊讶,说我已经都跟他们说好了啊,他们答应我可以
运动的,而且他们8点就在客厅睡觉啊。女管理员说那她不管,只要有complain,

So in fact, I can say that most people on this board are not capable of

说心率after each mile是150,158,160,162,164。按照MAF的算法,我跑到第二麦
就已经over了。但是我跑到5麦也能一边跑一边跟人聊天。
更何况,如果你是用treadmill的HR monitor的话,那个误差很大。有一次我换了个
treadmill,跑完一麦一测,直接上170,吓老子一大跳,赶紧停下来,然后才发现是
treadmill的测量有问题。 |

上跑步。跑到26分,再过一,两分钟就该提速到6.5MPH了。我决定喝口水。由于我的水
瓶是广口的,我还没练就一边跑一边喝的技术,每次试都搞得水溅得到处都是。所以我
每次都是按一次“STOP"然后趁那20秒空间喝水。刚喝一口, 还没下肚,就觉得不对劲
。接着马上眼前一片黑,天旋地转。弯腰靠在treadmill的显示板上,勉强站着。检视
了一下当时情况:身后有两个人在做器械,我collapse了的话应该会打911。但我当时
没有能力说话,身体处于totally given up 的状态。觉得很无助。想了想是就地倒下
还是支撑着站着。决定能撑着就撑着。我要是躺地上了,那他们真就叫救护车了。我不
愿意ruin my day。
还好过了一会,应该是不到一分钟,情况稳定了一下。虽然还是晕,我能够站起来了。
把水瓶,腰包抓着,到更衣室在bench上躺了几分钟。接着该干嘛干嘛。 |

That is a message I got from treadmill.
My highest HRM measured on treadmill is about 168. I am not sure about the

女生,平时喜欢在treadmill上随便跑跑,大概就是每次5k的样子,跑40多分钟的龟速
,一周大概2-3次,然后放假期间就会在家宅一个月什么运动也不做。。。
刚才看了Hal Higdon's guide,打算跟着开始练习,但是不是很清楚,这些必须是要在
户外跑么?还是treadmill也算?如果是treadmill需要调slope么? |

the main difference is wind
resistance and acceleration. It is true that at the exact same speed,
treadmill is less taxing on the body. But
you are also unlikely to push yourself to the limit on the treadmill. For
instance, I wouldn't try an all out sprint
on the treadmill, as otherwise I may not be able to push the button when I
need to. |

I do easy, tempo, interval and even long run on treadmill. if you set
incline higher than 1.0, It is usually harder than flat road run.
And it is ALWAYS harder to do long run on treadmill than on road. |

both.
Garmin's HRM is not compatible with Gym's treadmill, but my cheap standalone
HRM is compatible with polar, which is the standard used in most of the Gym.
GPS is helpful in your pace control, which is useless on treadmill.
So if you run a lot outdoors, I still suggest you buy a Garmin 305, when
price is right, it is about $100. You can use in cycling as well.

that I can't wear shoes on the treadmill. After disputing for five minutes,
I was allowed to wear my shoes. But then I was told that the treadmill use
was limited to 15 minutes because otherwise the machine would wear out. All
I could think was, WTF. |

Nordic (also know as proform) is currently number 1 in treadmill market
share.

However the true commercial grade treadmill such as lifefitness and matrix
is much better built with a much higher price tag. For normal runners with
interval run bellow 12mph, The difference wont be that much to really
