美国这个地方吧，什么都好，就是转基因食品太多！
生活在美国，如果你不想吃转基因食品，那也不是不可能，但还是有相当难度的。我本
人不是研究转基因的专家，但对转基因却非常关心。美国超市里有转基因食品上市了，
方舟子和崔永元又打起来了，这样的时候，我都要跑去看看热闹。美国政府在2015年初
批准转基因苹果（北极苹果）在美国上市之后，我过段时间就去超市转一圈，很想亲眼
看看转基因苹果是什么样子，但到目前我还没有见过转基因苹果，更没有吃过转基因苹
果。我等得都有点急了。现在中国国内有句讽刺人的话：你就是吃转基因的命，操转基
因的心！我还真是这样的人。
转基因食品是否安全？对这个问题，挺转派（主要是农业生物公司和很多学生物的人）
和反转派（主要是有机农业及部分追随者）争得不可开交。我个人认为，目前市场上的

列治文威灵顿花园（Wellington Court）的业主代表卡嘎（Andreas Kargut）代表若干
小区业主，向BC省人权特别法庭（Human Rights Tribunal）投诉被新任业主委员会歧
视，该投诉已获得立案调查。
卡嘎投诉的内容是： 该业委会开会只用普通话，不提供英语口译服务，并且在今年夏
天投票把非普通话成员驱逐出业委会。
威灵顿花园是列治文市区花园城市公园旁边的一个54户城市屋小区，由POLYGON公司开
发。
根据卡嘎的说法，威灵顿小区一直是个很和谐的小区，但自从发现一些木梁腐烂需要更
新时出现了问题，一些业主对粉刷工作提出很多问题，认为粉刷费用过高。然后一些业
主开始盛传非国语业委会成员“偷”了应急基金（Contingency Fund）。
在业主大会投票时，有业主一下子拿出37张代表票（Proxy Votes），从而驱逐了非普
通话业委会成员，还解聘了资深物业管理公司。
现任物业管理主任毛先生（Ed Mao）在邮件中说，我们不会在12月8日的业主委员会议
中使用英语，因为普通话是业委会团队最高效的沟通方式。
