radius than this car. The turning radius is not very good at all. No
such thing as a 3-point turn in this thing. Try 4-6 points. I have
even had trouble pulling a U-turn on four-lane road.

也有和稀泥的。
我仔细想了一下，两派的意见可能都是对的，原因在于不同州的不同规定，（原贴楼主
好像也没说他的所在州）既然如此，不是在一个基础上的讨论，就不会用什么共识和结
果，与其这样，还不如把这种没有本州法律依据的讨论便成学习，不同州的朋友们贴出
自己州的规定，看看到底是怎么回事，让大家也都学习一下，不要浪费时间成本。
再有一个前提：法律上的东西就是用来钻牛角尖的，至于practically怎么样，是另外
的话题（比如defensively driving) ,不在本贴的讨论范围之内。

了。那个警察说Ohio全州都不允许在intersection u-turn，然后就给我开了张ticket
，但是奇怪的是拿到ticket后发现上面写的是no signal when making u-turn。当然我
是开了左转灯的，而且也是在左转道上。警察为什么说我没开信号灯呢？难道这样写对
他在法庭上更有利？因为我无法提供反驳的证据？
回来后查了下交规，看到Ohio Revised Code里面唯一一条关于u-turn的是这样写的：

第一次和警察当庭对质，其实心里还是没底的。因为如果警察坚称我没开转向灯（
signal），我也没有证据反驳（虽然警察也没证据）。不过小的策略我还是有的，那就
是把警察往u-turn是否合法的方向引，这样至少能导致他在转向灯和u-turn之间摇摆，
让法官生疑。所以一开始我就说自己确实开了转向灯，没提u-turn是否合法，结果警察
果然就说u-turn本身就不合法。然后我就问警察，你在pullover的时候有没有和我提过
转向灯的问题？可能是因为他的主攻方向是u-turn不合法，没怎么想就说自己不记得了
。（现在想想如果他撒谎说和我说过转向灯的问题我就有点被动了。）我说你在ticket
上面写了no signal却又不记得自己提过，这难道不奇怪吗？警察狡辩说在ticket上补
充自己没有提到的部分是他的自由，我管不着。接着我问他是否确定在business

在driver's handbook没有明确的说明。
1）有禁止u turn的标志肯定不能转吧
2）网上有人这么说，如果是双向四车道，在存在指定左转道和安全岛隔离时，可以u
turn；如果没有指定左转车道或是/并且没有安全岛，u turn不合法。

发帖数: 486 | 15 蓝色(2), 现实中如果你是1车，你是不知道2车会不会U Turn的，如果他只是左转，那跟1车没有矛盾，所以这种情况，很多人如果是1车，还是会转过去。然后U turn的车一般都看不到1车，觉得自己是绿灯就turn了，我也搞不请这种情况到底是谁的责任，如果是1车在U turn的turn之前先转了。
这种情况，如果2车允许U turn, 理想状态下应该1车那里有个no turn on red才行。不过美国的标志混乱，很多都没有，是比较危险的一个情况。

Package上, Amazon给的不多, 直接忽略. Turn明显很高, RocketFuel比Turn低一些,
股票也少一些. Google的base没有turn的多, 整体也没turn多. BTW, turn给直接办绿
卡.
目前对Turn还挺满意, 可是不知道这种startup前景怎么样, 值不值得放弃google的
offer而去Turn? 各位大牛有没有做ad technology这块的, 可否给点建议? 跪谢 |

并不是我U turn的地方。想问一下我是否可以据此辩护说警察的指控不成立。
我认为罚单上写的路口不是我U turn的地方的原因如下：
1. 罚单上写的路口没有红绿灯，而我U turn的地方有————开罚单时警察也提到了
我是在红绿灯处U turn的，不知道怎么能拿到警察的statement来证明这一点；另外我
车上的朋友可以作证。
2. 罚单上写的路口是单行道，没有U turn的可能和必要————这可以作为证据吗？
如果警察硬说我是在one way的路口U turn，会不会对我更不利。
另外请教我还可以搜集那些证据？

后来靠iphone才摸到终点。可是终点在左边，一路开来十字路口都是“no turn“。以
前只见识过”左转箭头打个斜线“，”no turn on red“，”no left turn“。这个”
no turn“是不是只能往前走。就这样走了1,2miles，终于看到一个十字路口没有any
sign，就强行U turn，被后面的的车狂滴。没有any sign可不可以在十字路口U TURN呢

比较Comfortable，黑道也可以下来，较紧张，自己觉得是用Parallel Turn 下来的，
现在有些困惑：
1．为什么即使不断地Turn，滑下来的速度也没觉得降很多？
2．每当转的时候，下山侧SKI的内边都Carve到雪里，而上山侧的SKI只是轻轻地浮在雪
面上，这是正常的Parallel Turn动作吗？
3．Carve Turn 和Parallel Turn 的区别到底在那里，是不是用那些Sidecuts比较深的
滑雪板自然而然地倾向于Carving Turn， 我用的是Rossignol Bandit B2。

的道上拉绳子上去再滑下来，板子保持平行再扭扭屁股一点都不难，那也是parallel啊
我记得以前去过的一个雪场大概是这么定义滑雪者水平的
beginner skier, can link turns on easy terrain
intermidiate skier, can link turns on blue terrain
advanced skier, can link turns on black terrain
expert skier, can link turns on any terrain
关键不是parallel turn本身，关键是你能在多难的地形上link turns |

这两周最大的收获是：可以流畅的连起来short turn啦！一开始我以为short turn就是
左一下skid右一下skid，练了一阵很郁闷，如果中间不小跳一下很难平稳又快的连起来
，后来发现如果像carving一样左右交替移动重心，一下子感觉流畅了很多！高手请指
点一下，我的感觉对否？
然后就雄心勃勃的去黑道了，才发现原来黑道这么陡，后退两米就看不到道了，心里一
窃动作都变形了，最主要的是身体不敢前倾，更可恶的是昨天这个小雪场的黑道中间做
的全是蘑菇，再加上脚底下黄澄澄的冰，摔的我斯里哗啦的。。。我是对黑道有心理阴
影了，其实雪好的话我是能在黑道上carve的。。。
对了还有一点发现，在绿岛或者蓝岛上carve的时候我发现主要是下山的脚在着力，但
是到了更陡的道上我发现上山的雪橇也很重要，刚开始的时候因为我上山的雪橇角度没
有准备好很狼狈。

特别是提到的如何release turn，在雪道不平，或有小雪堆的时候非常有用。还有就是
没有足够lean forward的话，engage turn时很难de-camber the ski，这样release时
候没能利用ski re-camber 时的pop来帮助release和transit。
另外再请教下，early season很多时候都会icy。能不能再请教下icy 的時候的 short
radius turn的方法？不知道前辈们有什么学习的资源可以推荐吗 - 网页，视频，图书
等？我自己是完全不得要领如何从icy的蓝道或黑道比较elegant和efficient的下来。
我只敢在绿道上用很sharp的ski试着large radius carving 【蓝道上的话large
radius carving速度就快的很吓人了】。我自己试着用任何小于ski turn radius的
short radius turn时完全没办法engage turn。是不是还是自己lean forward的问题呢

there would be 2 or more lanes to turn into, so the right turn traffic goes
into the right most lane and the U-turn traffic goes into the left most
lane. Also, when you are making a turn, your speed should be low and
you should be alert, and you are ultimately responsible for not running

yelp在老楼的时候我去过，感觉挺破的，但是这个跟公司好坏没啥关系。朋友们的说法
是yelp bar也挺高，能去yelp的估计还能去pay更好点的公司。
有个fb的朋友说，yelp刚上市20多块的时候，他们就整天开会说fb怎么怎么数据多用户
多，干死yelp轻松的很。结果2年过去，yelp股价被干到了100.
turn不太了解。rocket fuel给的其实挺扣的，当时pre-ipo的时候给的也不爽快。turn
的15k其实也不算少了。但是股价不能咱不能总跟高的比吧。具体请参照groupon上市惨
剧。
总的来说我估计钱其实差不太多估计，如果turn前景确实不错的话，应该要多一点。还
是看lz喜欢做什么吧，这个应该更重要些

顺便报一些包裹：
Tableau: 135K, 10-20% bonus, 10K relocation, 15K signon
Zillow: 120K, 15% bonus, 10K relocation, 10K signon
Turn: 140K, 10%-20% bonus, 20K relocation, 10K signon
股票之类的都没有。
Tableau和Zillow地处雅图，而且都已经上市，而且从glassdoor上的review看，员工给
与公司的评价都很高(>=4.0)；但是Turn地处湾区，听说要上市，也许会被收购,
glassdoor上的review比较一般，公司员工对于公司的管理提出许多不满。
