umpire相当于裁判。referee相当于裁判长，要懂蛇形排镇还有单循环时的次序。这些都不难，难得是靠referee需要先当上umpire并且在什么什么级别的比赛裁上N场才可以考referee。 |

俺说好吧。结果老Bill说那你的Umpire的re-certification过了吗，俺说：啥？！这还
要重考。他说你的Umpire早过期了要重考。于是俺当晚考了下（开卷）并Email出去，
周五下午收到Email说俺76分，75分是通过线，嘿。
然后周五晚上赶紧翻了翻老Bill发的准备材料，周六上午上HK人家，老Bill监考，这是
闭卷。竟然过了referee塞。可怜HK人貌似没过，新的official list上没见到。
看来，俺组织了两次USATT的比赛的经验还是有用滴。 |

When Dent was about the serve the next ball, someone took a
picture again. Murray indicated that to the umpire and Dent.

distracting enough that you are hindered from playing.
If there is no umpire, you may have to persuade any captains
watching.
If there is nobody else watching, you may have to persuade your
opponent. (Although you don't have to, but proceeding without
opponent's consent may result in retaliation in line calls.) |

考试不难的，都是开卷，第一次自己家里做，做好了发给你的local coordinator，通
过了就可以去上你们local的school
上之前online会有一个test，自己家里做，把分数打出来带去学校就好了
上过第一次课，就会有人安排你跟有经验的裁判实习
但是不会上来就让你做边裁的，一般都是接草根比赛的job，一个人看4-6个场得roving
umpire，等你跟local的人都熟了，才比较有可能有人推荐你，或者你找到别人给你
local的需要边裁的event，一般至少是usta pro circuit level的比赛了

说我可以claim diminished value. 叫我找一个trade in value. 去了买车的dealer,
根据carfax的minor repair 的记录，他们给了一个quote. 我传给了Allstate.
Allstate派人来看了看我的车，照了几张像，说是make sure it was indeed repaired
.我想他们是想确认我的quote的低确实是因为曾经的repair,外表是好的。
然后Allstate给我的diminished value 是$1000左右。
我自己看的KBB and Edmunds的trade in value （不考虑曾修理过）和dealer 的quote
应差$2000左右。
Allstate说，我嫌低的话，他们可以出钱找他们prefered vendor 做一个appraisal.
不论高低，就按那个给。
如果我不服，可以自己花钱请人做appraisal. 然后我们一起出钱请个umpire定最后

It will be interesting to know which rule they cited to argue that it's a
fault, even though the eventual outcome is in favor of the server.
I actually don't enjoy the scenario that the partner of the receiver has to
