我前不久汇了几万美元回国，后来才知道有gift tax一说，差点没郁闷死。后来咨询了
IRS，发现可以用"unified credit"抵掉它。现在和大家分享一下，不要犯同样的错误：
1. Non-resident, resident, 和citizen 都要交这个税；
2. 我们一年可以给某人（夫妻除外）$12,000 不用缴税，所以大额汇款最好是分寄给
多个人；
3. 如果是resident 和citizen， 有一个"Unified Credit"($345,800) 可以抵掉gift
tax；
４．IRS 可能会track每笔汇款，他们是以收款人做标准。所以如果我们汇给其他人，
就没办法说汇的钱实际上是给自己的，也不能说虽然汇给一个人，但是会分给多个人;

如果我把所有的信息都给unify了，要是dealer给我的利率比unify的还低我可以不用

these two categories were managed to be dealt with seperately. What a
wasteful of resources and effort. Back to 2007, there was no EB2 and EB3 (at least was not delibrately spelled out by then the unified LIA), it was just EBs,
donations were pretty dare good, volunteers were more than enough. If there
were a unified voice and a unified action in a larger scale, then the impact could
be greater. Just my two cents. |

以我工作的城市anaheim来说，属于Anaheim Union High。
但是，Anaheim Union High 之中，有Oxford Academy，和Troy媲美，
也有非常不错的Cypress High。
然而，Anaheim High 和 Magnolia High，就是臭名昭著了。
另外，我一个同事住在Placentia，三个女儿都读的 Placentia-Yorba
Linda Unified。但是，她说，同样是 Placentia-Yorba Linda
Unified，北边的学校就非常好，南边靠近Anaheim的，就很差了。 |

开始以为只是LA county，结果发现irvine也在里面。
似乎漏掉了orange county两个很大的学区：orange unified, 还有 garden
grove unified. orange unified里面有个很好的高中 villa park high，居
然连前400都没有进入。 |
