发帖数: 5 | 15 我前不久汇了几万美元回国，后来才知道有gift tax一说，差点没郁闷死。后来咨询了
IRS，发现可以用"unified credit"抵掉它。现在和大家分享一下，不要犯同样的错误：
1. Non-resident, resident, 和citizen 都要交这个税；
2. 我们一年可以给某人（夫妻除外）$12,000 不用缴税，所以大额汇款最好是分寄给
多个人；
3. 如果是resident 和citizen， 有一个"Unified Credit"($345,800) 可以抵掉gift
tax；
４．IRS 可能会track每笔汇款，他们是以收款人做标准。所以如果我们汇给其他人，
就没办法说汇的钱实际上是给自己的，也不能说虽然汇给一个人，但是会分给多个人;

Virtualization 等等。
是不是由于那些都被归类为“Admin”，因此都不屑讨论？
我自己是比较笨，虽然也写过一些汇编、C++，但看见大型项目的代码就头疼。因此选
择了做系统集成。以前做 Network Infrastructure，现在做 Unified Communications
。感觉比 coding 容易。起码面试不会考算法，让你写代码什么的。
有时候面试，对方听到我的名字，说“哦，你就是写 XX 书的某某啊？”，然后就谈工
资了。或者“你是 dual CCIE，技术上我就不献丑了”，然后就谈什么行业的发展前景
啊、什么个人规划啊。
当然，股票比不上 FLG 的大牛。但摸熟门路后，现在基本在 320k 上下浮动。在贫农
中也算能养家活口。 |

not say what the sign 标识 says or what manner it is.

类的机器。我倒是有一个t43p，当初3000多买的机器。现在舍不得啊。其实每个parts
都和以后的型号不匹配了。就当一个纪念吧。dell档次还是不行。尤其是键盘松松的，
给人一种nyc黑木耳的感觉。唉，。。。
对了，logitech的鼠标真心好。那个unify的technology，真心好啊。比微软的无线鼠
标+键盘要好多了。微软的千万不要买，它的trans-receiver如果坏了，整个键盘+鼠标
就要跟着丢掉。那3个是一套的。但是如果logitech就没问题，有unify。 |

么增，三年级的时候是20个左右，最多好象是22，但是san diego unified好象是35，
不知道poway是多少。不管怎么说，孩子多了老师肯定难管一点。

dingeman这个小学有。大概每年都会考试吧，符合要求的孩子，可以选择去天才班。
Poway unified的学区里可能没有学校有天才班。
我也就知道这一知半解的了。 |

二年级考了gate的考试后，有的学校会分班，gift班和普通班，有的学校是把两种学生
混在一起，每个学校自己决定分班模式。
Seminar是gate考试里的尖子，这些学生在San Diego Unified学区另外有班，这个班不
一定设在你孩子的学校，scripps ranch好象是设在dingeman.你孩子如果真是seminar
就可以选择去dingeman. Seminar只考一次，一直到中学都有。
把孩子分一下主要是想按孩子的需求来指导。有利有弊，众说纷纭。Del Mar, Carmel
Valley就完全不分。 |

1.有孩子的都应该买life insurance，越早买越便宜，公司的group insurance是不够
的，一是数额比较小，二是万一失业了这个insurance就没有了，年纪大了万一失业了
再想买term life会很贵。
2.life insurance分term和whole life，whole life顾名思义就是能保一生，有点类似
saving账户，满足一定条件可以取钱出来，term期满了以后没有任何benefit，premium
