- install hardwood (2 ¼” x ¾” red oak) floor with two coats of

assessor records permits unknown.
就是楼上有一间屋可能是上个房主自己加的，不在record 里，不知有没有permit。
这个房子如果出offer接受了，会不会有后续的问题，比如说这间房子不合法，要罚款
之类的。或者escrow 根本就close 不了？
请有经验的各位给些建议。

搬之前, 房東問我們床多大有沒有box, 正納悶為什麼問這樣的問題, 房東說Queen的沒
辦法通過樓梯, 之前的房客確實是鋸了box才搬得上去.
後來發現那個年代蓋的房子很多這樣的, 窗子做得也小(比起1920-30年代的房子) |

心想既然已经这样了，就30块学习学习了。。。
维修工来了，就按点火键“pa pa”几下就好了。
接着向我要80块钱，我说不对呀。。。
HOA和维修工就一唱一和地说，本来还以为其他用户也坏了，就大家一起摊。
现在发现只有我家的热水炉有问题，所以要我付80。
。。。
由于平时跟HOA关系还好，最后就付了。。。
不过心里特不爽，哪有这样抢钱地的。。。

另外，小区170多户，好像没有一户中国人，不知道这样的小区要不要了。学区本身还

还有一个关于sun room中央空调的问题。我家sun room在车库上，靠着living room修
建。车库顶是水泥板，HVAC师傅说，duct要么只能从living room过去，要么从二楼穿
sun room屋顶进入。前者会在living room鼓出来一个墩子影响美观，后者会将sun
room划归到upstairs zone（我家打算分两个zones,楼上一个，楼下一个）。

我最近在找人装中央空调，有相关问题请教。
1. 背景介绍
我们在麻省中部，房子30多年房龄, colonial, 不连地下室2400sq不到一点。该房用
hot water baseboard heating加热(去年已经换了high efficiency boiler 和
indirect hot water heater)，房子以前建的时候装了duct，但是没有中央空调。在一
楼和二楼的各个房间都有register grill。Attic上面没有duct,但是有些圆形和椭圆形
的duct opening, 据前来估价的contractors说，圆形的是连接二楼的grill的，椭圆形
的是穿过墙壁连接一楼的grill的。 一楼5个grill, 二楼7个grill. 因为attic上面有
厚厚的insulation,所以没有还没有找到所有的opening（也没专门仔细找）,但是据
contractor 说，应该有12个opening(5+7=12)分别连到一楼和二楼的grill。
