术的PI之一），其本人已经撰文，结论是肖氏手术效果并没有肖本人生成的那么好，并

更重要的是，问题并不在肖传国的学术研究成果：他本人应该说是有相当的才华。他的
问题是把一个试验阶段的手术拿到中国大规模收钱推广。在中国，这是医德问题。在美
国，这是要吃官司坐牢的。
最后，对某些拼命维护肖的ID，对其动机和价值观极端不解。

首先应该每天清理猫砂盆
一般来说观察一下poopoo，peepee大小块就差不多了
喵不会说话，唯一能提醒咱这些当爹妈的就是异常行为
比如平时埋的很好，突然不埋了
平时都去litter box，突然乱nn
平时比较规律的一天n次，突然没完没了的在litter里扒拉，又尿不出几滴
尿有血色
美国大傻医生们给这些个非正常的行为的最常见的病因起了个好名字
Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease
直译是猫下泌尿道疾病
跟没说一样，我也知道丫那儿有病，到底嘛毛病啊？
医生也不确定，从可能性上说，最罕见的是cancer（小于5%可能性，尤其是年轻喵）
其次是感染（infection，小于20%可能性)
最可能的是不知道（甭打我，医生就这么说的）
也就是说不知道什么东西导致了喵的排尿困难
从实例上看，这个“不知道”有一下几个可能
1.受刺激了导致精神性排尿异常：比如搬家，受惊吓，等等。

10岁公猫, 6个月前 得过尿道堵塞,吓死了全家人, 目前没有重新发过.
(1)现在是全部吃罐头.
(2)VET叫我们吃science diet, 他不碰.
(3)换来换去, 他喜欢吃friskie 的 鱼罐头, 上面标有 urinary health formula.....
(4)研究后了解到 friskie 罐头质量差, 但是幸运的是尿道病没有复发, 这也是我们现
在的底线了.

在4月初，送一饼看医生后的第二天，我也进了医院去催生。我们家的宝宝健康平安出
生了。我出院后，老公也去VET把一饼接了回来。当时医生说一饼需要一个家，因为他
是urinary track disease需要吃罐头。
我们也买了医生说的罐头，也和院里其他喂一饼的邻居说了。刚回来的一饼虽然瘦了很
多，但还算是精神。可惜我们不能把它放在家里养。
最近老公发现一饼反应比较迟缓，特别的瘦，精神也不是很好。不再像之前威风的他了
，喂他罐头他还是吃，胃口还可以。但今天老公发现他蹲在院子里发出很奇怪的叫声。
估计他的urinary track disease复发了。他真的很需要一个家，可以好好的受到照顾
！！！可惜我们自己现在家里不能收养他，院子里邻居也不能收养他。
如果找不到能收养他的好心人，一饼只能送去VET那安乐了。希望能尽快找到能收养一

我外行看法 - 肖的方法应该是有些效果，不过被“夸大”的嫌疑很大。如果是75%治愈
率夸大到85%，也就算了。如果是15%拔高到到85%，那可就不是一个善意的夸大能解释

what Xiao claimed is 85% of homeruns (i.e., complete urinary continence).
7/9 is just increase in bladder pressure with stimulation of the dermatome.
And even this could be due to "not voiding volitionally or using the newly
developed cutaneous reflex" as one commenter pointed out.

in the U.S. study, which was something like 7-8 out of 10 (don't
remember the exact number). The U.S. study lacks statistical power
of course, and that is why the J. urology paper did not immediately
call it a success, but the fact that NIH continued the funding for
expanded study reflects the expert's opinion, that it is a very
very promising lead.

NIH 年底批准了230万美元，由Beaumont医院（美国最大的私立医院之一）)牵头，在美
国几个主要医学院多中心推广研究肖氏反射弧（somatic-autonomic reflex arc）肖氏
手术。NIH已决定由哈佛大学医学院建立DATA Base，收集处理多中心肖氏反射弧手术资
料。
向NIH要求参加该计划的大学太多，在平衡协调上伤透脑筋。我当然希望多多益善，但
经费有限。目前基本选定东海岸哥伦比亚大学医学院，哈佛大学医学院，华盛顿大学（
