. Department of Veterans Affairs)，与美国国防部、国务院平起平坐。2013年，美
国退役军人事务部雇佣了31万全职员工，是联邦政府仅次于国防部的第二大行政部门。
即使在2015财年联邦政府面临4,690亿美元财政赤字的情况下，美国国会仍拨款1,639亿
美元用于退休军人福利，约为美国军费拨款的1/4，比2014年增长6.5%。

Philadelphia home of a Marine veteran suspected of killing his ex-wife and
five of her relatives.
Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman says the body was
found Tuesday afternoon by police looking for 35-year-old Bradley William
Stone.
The body was found near Stone's home. Ferman says authorities are awaiting
identification.

政府前年由于预算问题关过一阵门。DC的vietnam war memorial当然也要闭门谢客了。
那些越战老兵不干了，一群老兵当着记者的面把警察设置的栏杆强行搬开，大摇大摆地
进去参观。那些全副武装，平时耀武扬威的警察别说掏枪，连上前拦一下都不敢，全部
退到十米以外凉快去了。要是巴马敢下令开枪，Fox News 头版来个“Vietnam war
veterans murdered right in front of the Vietnam war memorial.", 巴马那天晚上
能不能活着离开白宫还真是个问题。老兵在美国基本上是横着走，没办法，人家的话语
权是靠命换来的。
