weeks. One senior professor suggests me wait until the next cycle. His
reason is that I won't hear the decisions before the next deadline so if I
didn't get the funding this time, I might miss the next deadline.
Does this make sense? Should I wait or just submit this cycle? 大家什么经验

-existing condition waiting period 要到5月份才开始保我之前的condition。
可是我之前工作的保险也是这家保险公司的，只是不同的group policy。而且我的前一
个保险2月1号结束，后一个保险1月30就开始了，之间并没有gap。
请问这种情况，难道我在waiting period之间就没有保险了么？觉得好unfair啊，有没

但我自己从不同来源得到不同的消息
(1) 上月底把Citi AA Visa转成Citi Hilton Reserve，听电话CSR说卡要1月28日才生
效。奇怪的是转换的时候没有要我的Hilton号码。激活的时候打电话去提供了号码，
CSR说是发了一个request。我的新卡已经收到了，里面没有T&C，也没有任何提及生效
期。不知道现在这张新卡上的消费到底是积攒到AA还是Hilton。
(2) 今天online chat把Discover More转成了Discover IT，被告知是下个billing
cycle的第一个生效。几天后statement就close了，跟CSR确认了一下就是这个月13号生
效。
(3) Discover 网站上可以自己转成其他卡，试了一下Discover Escape $60年费的卡，
说是如果转换的话，点数按照$1 = 100 miles转换，新program需要 45天 + any days

Guangzhou: 2 days.
Chengdu: 5 days.
Shanghai: 2 days.
Beijing: 1 day.
But I don't know whether this information is accurate. I need to go back to

SR on June 3 but still no response from USCIS.
Senator inquiry on June 16. Got response next day: Wait 30 days.
Called 800 many times. Nothing is visible on their computer screens.
Tried to bother the second senator this afternoon to push again.
At 10:20pm, got text message on cell phone and emails: Card productions.
However, 3/4 greened for now. Still wait the last application for approval.

Called USCIS twice and talked to 2 2nd tier officers. I Was told that my
case was assigned to an officer on June 29. Everything was cleared and
ready for final approval. Why it takes so long even though it is assigned
to an officer? Anyway, I will contact the Congressman tomorrow to see if
this would help.
Anyone in this board like us who become current in July but still wait for

经在Waiting List上了，等NVC通知你交了材料后，他们会把家属加到waiting list里

和applicant 联系，而immihelp上说about to become current的意思一般是指一年之
内），那至少我今年是肯定没戏了，不然不会说no way of predicting.（其实你们应
该回顾一下之前一个niw走cp的帖子。和他不同的是，我要求缴费的信早就收到，律师
说是等排期到达的前五六个月再缴费。）奥本之前说过cp一般有个qualifying date，
nvc提前几个月收到准备材料的信息并开始审批，在真正有名额之后可以预约面试。

restore backup之后。以前的app sync之后出现一直waiting 状态，没法用。折腾了很
久，重新抹掉又restore,还试图从比较老的backup恢复。都没用。目前的状态是一个
app都没法成功sync.我在itunes上选择安装某个app.不安装某个app都不起作用。 我
只能从iphone上app store选择那个正在waiting的app,让他消失之后重新下载。但是没
法把Mac里面备份的app sync上去。这样有很大的问题。就是通过iphone直接下载的app
都是新的，没有我以前的使用的数据。 我有一些app比如gps一类的，里面有大量的以
前保存的信息，全部没法恢复到手机上了。怎么办？ |

AUTO GROWTH，I/O WAIT基本解决了，另外ARCHIVE JOB之后加了DBCC FREE CACHE，估
