发帖数: 569 | 2 前几天pool service来给开了pool，说过几天再来打扫pool。周末闲着无聊，
看pool烂树叶和细砂子之类太多，就用原来owner的那个Polaris 380
（像个水下机器人）来打扫pool。这样不但pool的pump在运行，那个
Polaris 380的buster pump也打开了。
几个小时后把Polaris 380卸下来。到filter那里看，发现filter那里的那个
basket和motor之间的螺丝结合处有一股细流在一直喷出。 之前是没有细流的。
不知道是否跟用Polaris 380有关。
我担心是因为filter的压力太大引起的，其实压力也就是10左右。开pool的人
说到12左右要backwash。决定backwash一下看有没有作用。关了pump，打开
filter旁边的basket，掏出很多树叶之类的，然后盖上盖子。再把那个silver
的阀门旋转上提，再打开pump，水就从waste的管子流出来了，而且basket旁边
的细流还在流。Waste管子里流的水很清，过了几分钟我就关了pump，把silver

发帖数: 44 | 3 连着几天看见有人问把落叶弄成compost的事情，今天正好放假，来献献丑，说说我是
怎么搞的吧。
Compost其实只要直接把落叶堆起来就可以，然后什么都不用管，我们镇的municipal
compost就是这么干的。这样做缺点是刚开始还没熟的时候会被风吹散，象municipal
compost是因为地势低，吹也吹不到哪里去，我们住家就不行。所以我自己打了四根柱
子，6英尺高，拿围篱笆的plastic wire net围起来，把cmopost放在里面，就不会被吹
散了。等到半熟了以后风吹不走了，放在哪里就都一样了。落叶里的有机质会自己熟化
，在这个过程中我基本上每周翻一次，就当锻炼腰肌，为交公粮做准备了。
Compost的来源主要是落叶。我在NJ，落叶基本上就是十一月上半个月的时候。现在正
好是收集的时候。春天的时候也会落一些。另外平常剪草打边的时候有些碎草飞出来，
我也给堆进去。基本上从十月底开始收集，到第一场雪的时候就有一个大堆了。但是放
一个冬天肯定是不会有什么效果的，必须等一个春天加一个夏天才会彻底熟成compost

天涯原帖到100页之后我也没有怎么follow了。爱心妈妈很多言论让我无法相信他们的
话。
到底是不是“毯子一包就走了”我不是目击人我不好说什么，所以要这么轻易的推断也
没有输液我也做不到。
TPN直接输入到血管，不进入食道。它不会产生一般人进食产生的大便。蛋白质是以
amino acid的形式可以直接吸收利用，fat也是以fatty acid和triglyceride的形式在
TPN里面，直接被吸收利用。
肝脏分解某些养分后会有waste product，这个微量的waste waste可能会通过食道排出
。但是这个量和质是和一般婴儿进食然后产生的大便完全不一样的。
既然你说了医院没有用TPN，那就连这个微量的waste product都不会有。那这个满肚子
大便引起的腹胀是怎么回事我很好奇啊。
如果只摄入glucose没有fat+protein饿不死，但是婴儿不能正常的生长发育。

Match的结果终于尘埃落定，周1等电邮的时候非常紧张，因为成败就在此了，虽然一直
告诉自己，今年只是热热身，成败都可以接受，但到真的揭晓的时候，还是很紧张，毕
竟一旦卷入其中就身不由己，何况自己也还是有所付出。到周4等match program的时候
虽然也有点紧张，但程度已经大大减少，1个原因是毕竟match上才是头等大事，去哪里
尚在其次，还有1个原因是心理还是有所准备了，虽然希望留在home school，但直觉告
诉我恐怕是非常困难了，在我rank list上第二位的program应该就是我要去的地方，果
不其然。经过几天的等待，发现果然是要搬家了。

1.资料(主要参考的也就两到三本，不需要带太多，根本没有时间翻。INDEX很有用，基
本都是先看INDEX，然后再去找的。还有自己compile的binder很有用)
1) EN Reference Manual: 这个最好把后面的index打印出来到时候好查。还有
summarize里面的一些你觉得重要的公式
2) PE. Env. Sample questions & solutions(NCEES):多做几遍。第一遍可以直接看答
案。第二，第三遍要不看答案自己做出来，就是看到题，知道是哪一类知识，要用哪些
公式。
可以把这里面的一些公式summarize在一个sheet上。
ps:自己做跟看答案真心不一样。还是多动手吧。
3)Practical Design Calculations for Groundwater and Soil Remediation:这个大
概看一下，把一些公式记一下。
