休金帐户内的金额不足。根据该报告，在2013年底新州一共有1,731新州公职退休人
士能获得每年10万元以上的退休金，其中45%的退休人士为消防员和警察系统退休者，
占794人；另外有527人的退休金是由教师退休基金支付。
随着越来越多的公职退休人士加入「10万俱乐部」，新州退休金总额在今年将上升
至17亿元，这仅占2018年州政府应支付退休金额的三分之一。面对严峻的开支考验，
州长克利斯蒂在年度预算中提及退休金问题，并呼吁议会改革现有的养老金及福利
制度。根据最新公布的2015财政年度预算，州政府将向政府雇员养老金系统投入22亿5,
