今天终于去CLUB（LA WESTSIDE TTC)打球啦。得LD批准，吃完晚饭就出发了。到那一看
，人还真不少，有一些明显是水平比较高的（相对我而言）。找到负责人（WANG WEI，
前北京队队员，美国冠军和奥运会成员），交了7块钱（感觉还是有点贵，呵呵）。被
分配了一位JEFF大叔对练。大叔水平一般，练了好一会，打了场，3：0拿下。大叔说要
休息了。然后桌子就给了别人了，之后人越来越多，只能干坐着，咱谁也不认识啊。。
。
闲话少说，9：00钟RR开打，俺就是冲这个来的。网上说分两种，1800以上的一种，
1800以下的一种。不过分配的时候负责人（WAN WEI的老公）问了句“你没RATING吧”，
所以估计我们这个DIVISION都是没RATING的。共有3个小组，小组前2名和2个最好的第3
名进8强，然后淘汰赛。
第一个对手是BRETT大哥，有一手正手弧圈，发球有些特点，其他一般。刚开始手有点
冷（坐了大半天了嘛），加上吃了些发球，7：11先丢了一局。后面利用发球的变化，
加上不怎么吃发球了，连扳3局拿下。

那时候可能还没有吧，2009年5月才开始建成，14个clay court。
不过很多pro都是westside那边过来的，
比如Dave Porter，他现在就是那里的Director。 |

发帖数: 214 | 13 温哥华因为临近的关系，几年下来，每每食虫上脑，心向往之，便嚷嚷着带着架座，飞
驰而往。从最初Follow Travel Books 的程度，慢慢穿街入巷，自我流浪，开发总结，
到最后老饕的活动范围基本都固定在了市郊， 特别是City of Richmond和 City of
Burnaby两地。
Richmond是97香港移民的大本营。以余之所见，窃以为80%以上居民都是华人。走在大
街上，中文招牌比比皆是。Strip Mall的命名都是援用香港的地名，好像“新城市广场
“，“置地广场“等等。所有的“广场“之中，又以 Aberdeen, 时代坊，尤为出名。
Aberdeen 其实就是一个中型的indoor mall. 里面店铺林立，以中式为主，辅有日式，
韩式的门面，服装百货，琳琅满目。美食广场设在顶楼，有不少是连锁店的 express,
好像外母屋和味千拉面， 相信每一家若是移到西雅图了，那也是叫座叫好的。然而身
处中餐馆林立的Richmond, 便也不甚显眼了。值得一提的是美食广场中有一家 Beard
Papa 日式奶油泡芙店。第一次在纽约Westside Broadway那家吃到 |

Studios 在考虑。
前者２０分钟到纽约岛，２星，评价３。９ ４晚３５０
后者在Manhattan's Upper Westside，１星，评价２。２ ４晚４００
大家觉得哪一个好一些？
前者就是距离远一些，后者就是青年旅社。

。那天如果不浮潜的话可以考虑加一个Maui Ocean center。
Day 4如果是看日出的话，回来会比较早，下午可以去那个Iao valley state park走走
，两个小时就够了。 |

发帖数: 152 | 26 看来很多人对Jersey City有偏见阿，其实WATER FRONT的地段包括NEWPORT和EXCHANGE
PLACE都很SAFE，住得也舒适，有不少LUXURY BUILDING距离是从河边到grove st. 的界
限，千万不能住DOWNTOWN和JOURNAL SQ。
CRAIGSLIST上查JERSEY CITY加WATER FRONT可以找到比较好的房子，2200是去年夏天
ONE BED均价，能找到有DOOR MAN的HIGH RISE, INCL. W/D. 短期有些困难。不过去
MANHATTAN， 特别是DOWNTOWN WESTSIDE上班，住JERSEY CITY比BROOKLYN方便多了。
从外地来纽约，找了一圈纽约各地的房子，最后还是觉得JERSEY CTIY沿河感觉最好，
干净安逸方便。作为参考吧。 |

发帖数: 183 | 37 周末把08的X5 3.0 trade in了，换了一台lease的12 X5 5.0，不仔细看压根看不出换
了，虽说细节还是漂亮很多。报告一下配置价钱供参考
X5 5.0i + sport package + 20" wheels:试开了X5M，觉得没有什么意义，加上是老婆
开的，M的意义就更小了。M package不划算，没有选。sport package挺漂亮的，加了
拨片，trim也有点不一样，有个sport mode，改变油门反应
technology + premium package + premium sound + HUD，idrive比11的m3有些许不同
，ipod连接选歌的方式变了，navigation menu也有一点点改变。top view camera挺好
玩的，但是不知道什么场合实用，更不实用的是前面两side view camera。HUD非常实
用。
Cold weather package + Active ventilated seat：multi-contour seat很牛，很舒
