perelman, wiles 还有陈景润都是正常的科研方式，没有
多大的传奇色彩。 |

发帖数: 186 | 27 Terrace Tao在数学界，我觉得地位目前真的排不上啊。他是31岁拿Fields的。
首先他不如J.P.Serre，这个28岁拿Fields的法国人，算是代数几何，代数拓扑的鼻祖
之一了。
其次，他不如Grothendieck，这个代数几何的上帝，他开创的东西，养活了现在的所谓
主流数学界。。。
第三，他应该是不如丘成桐，丘虽然别人都说丫没天赋，但这哥们29岁拿Fields，
是几何分析的鼻祖之一啊，又养活了一堆人。。。。尤其是中国数学家们。。。这老头
现在拿了Wolf奖了。。。而且这老头的东西是影响到了理论物理了，Tao的东西，擦，
影响啥了？信号处理？？跟理论物理境界差太远啊。
Tao主业是PDE吧，他对这个领域的影响，真的是不如，没获Fields的Cafarelli和
Nirenberg。
Tao获Fields应该是那个素数等差定理起了主要作用吧，这种解析数论的东西相比
Fermat，Wile猜想还有Langlands Program的东西，实在是有点小家碧玉。。。
Tao要想称顶尖，估计还得十几年吧，他精力太分散了，很难说将来他的影响如何。。。 |

早就是混合方法占上风了。不相信你去图书馆查查
2000年陈省身，Wiles,smale等人展望下世纪数学的论文集，
看看前言怎么说的。
另外，你所谓的严谨，对不同的数学家，含义可能很不一样。
最后，举一个例子，远的彭家莱的<天体力学新方法>,近的
arnold的<微分方程几何理论>, 都跟公理化的方法大不一样，也不严谨,
很多东西是借助物理和几何解释的,你认为是伪数学么？ |
