10 Yr fixed的rate基本和15年fixed是一样的。不觉得特别有必要做。一般来讲no
cost refi做到2.75%没啥悬念，除非loan amount太低。
10年的rate上没什么优势，monthly payment是着实高了不少。
LZ可以再权衡一下。 |

Regarding the more desired 2.875% with rebates option - the (total interest
+ cost/credit) for 2.5% with $3,050 cost is $3,000 less than that of the 2.
875% bundle, so it is not clear to me why 2.875% is more desirable? Did I
miss something here?

and she was eager to do that.
Now she is 3 yr and 3 mons, she has no interest to do it, and always give up
too easily. I am not sure what was the reason for the retrogress. I think
it is more an attitude issue.
Anybody here has the same experience? How do you deal with it?
And in general, how do you teach your kid not to give up so soon? |
