Volkswagen dealer那边做了Mechanical Check，没什么大问题，但上周五开的时候突
然听到下面有声音，所以急忙停下来。
停的时候发现踩下离合器后，离合器不弹回来了，然后也不能换挡（shift gears）。
然后就叫AAA拖到Volkswagen的Dealer那儿。AAA一个老师傅帮
我看看，不知道怎么弄的，摇摇换挡的和踩踩离合
器，结果可以正常换挡了，踩下离合器，松开脚时可以弹回来，但是有噪音，好像
是从离合器那儿传过来的。所以那个老师傅还是建
议我拖到dealer那儿看一下，今天dealer那儿打电话过来，报价简直是天价，说一
拆开离合器那儿，就是1600刀，说可能是flywheel
已经磨损了，如果要换的话，总价钱可能2300多刀，把我雷到了。大家有什么建
议？是在dealer那修，还是去别的地方修？

that is too expensive for me.
So I wonder if anyone had experience to repair the vehicle and could
kindly recommend a place~ Thanks!!

transmission vehicle, and it was a good deal too. Just didn't image the
problem in a week...I looked up the maintaining history of this car, this
kind problem has never happened before.

1. 不见得一定是dealer说的问题；
2. 不会那末贵...
以前一个老Jetta出过一次状况，不过和你的不同，是离合卡口脱开，后来因为比较老
，把离合片咬齿部分整个更换，大约是$300-$500一个数值。非dealer.
再至少去一个地方看看吧。出保在dealer，尤其vw 等，还是比较贵的。

article, Zome mentioned that to buy parts and then repair at dealer or
other place. I don't know where to buy the flywheel.

for other detail stuff...
VW is kind of special, even some garages need to order parts from the dealer
, if no regular OEM ones.
you may find something from some website that sell EU parts...
but again, better get the real problem first, and maybe the price to fix is
not that crazy...

costs only $300. How much do you think NASA would spend to fix the space
station?
CHECK THE HOURS TO REPLACE THE FLYING WHEEL.
