dealer说了，不花钱的话自带3年limited warranty，花1000多刀可以买个7年的
extended warranty. 值不值得买呢？ |

deductible if any(usually there is deducible, and the coverage is not as
good as manufacturer warranty). The other thing is who provides the warranty
, Honda or some third party? While Honda will still be around, the third
party company might go bankrupt when you need the warranty service. You need
to know all these before you make decision. BTW, there is good profit for
dealer to sell you extended warranty.
In the first 3 years, the extended warranty covers nothing as it's fully
covered by original manufacturer warranty. In other words, you are paying
for nothing for the first 3 years.
As extended warranty overlaps with the original manufacturer warranty, you
can wait until almost end of 3-year to decide if you really want to buy the
extended warranty. There is no rush to make the buying decision.
I heard you can buy Honda extended warranty from other dealership, not
necessarily the one you buy your car. Do a search at Edmunds.com for more
information on this. Some dealers sell the same extended warranty at lower price. |

发帖数: 3343 | 11 I'm not suggesting that. I just wanted to point out the fact that you can
buy Honda Care warranty before 3yr/36k miles.
Quite often the finance guys at dealership who sell extended warranty want
you to believe that you have to buy right there, and cannot buy it after you
purchase the new Honda. This is simply not true.
