The small one with round cap(小圆柱体) is for windshield washer fluid.
You need to check your car owner manual first for coolant type. It will
damage your cooling system including water pump if you put in the wrong type
of coolant.
For windshield washer fluid, just buy it at autozone or Wal-Mart. Make sure
it's winter type so it won't freeze in the winter in case you haven't used
it up by then. |

需要把没用完的放掉吗？还是直接加进去（不知道原先剩余的会不会和买的一样不一样）？
最近车的engine在park的时候明显噪音很大，不知道和这个有没有关系。

The "图上24VALVE下面那个黄盖" is called radiator cap. Underneath the cap, it
's radiator, which is supposed to be filled full with coolant. The extra
coolant should be in the reservoir tank. Make sure you only open the
radiator cap when the car cools down. Otherwise you could be burnt by the
hot coolant burst out as cooling system has pressure when it's hot.
Take a look at page 174 and 175 of 2001 Maxima owner's manual:

According to the manual, it states only NISSAN antifreeze coolant can be
used. As I don't own a Nissan, not sure what other coolant can be used
safely. You might want to do more research on this as incorrect coolant
could damage water pump seal, which is not cheap to be repaired.
Where do you live? If you are not in the very cold area in winter, you can just add some 蒸馏水 as suggested by shouji if 只需要少量补充.
Actually distilled water conducts heat better than pure coolant. Problem with water is it'll freeze in winter. So it's always mixed distilled water and coolant in the cooling system.

level in the radiator when the engine is cold.
If there is insufficient coolant in the radiator, fill
the radiator with coolant up to the filler opening
and also add it to the reservoir tank up to the
MAX level.
如果radiator里面不够量，直接往reservoir tank里面直接加就行了吧，为什么两个都
要加？
reservoir tank里面的液体不能自动流到radiator里面吗？
你说的radiator cap我得等下班了看看在哪里。

1. coolant reservoir tank那么大的罐子，仔细看一下，MAX居然在罐子接近低端的位
置？我以为这个罐子要加满，看来我不需要加很多。特地到nissan dealer买这个，结
果人家说普通的antifreeze就行，没有什么指定的品类。
2. walmart的distilled water刚好卖完，家里的水可以替代吗？
3. radiator cap需要加蒸馏水到什么位置，整个体积就很小，不知道加到什么位置算
合适。

coolant倒进去，在加一杯同样多的水，1：1，就可以了，如果你没准，就半杯半杯的
加。 |

道没有那么多的富余空间了。 |
