现在定的机票是从kansas city到chicago是AA的票，从chicago到北京是海南航空的票
，两个是分开的票，不是联程。
现在的问题是中间只有一个半小时的间隔时间，而AA在terminal 3，海南全在terminal
5。是不是意味着父母需要在到chicago后取出行李，小火车从terminal 3-5，再去海
南航空托运行李，然后过安检？这样的话是不是一个半小时太短了？
另外能在kansas city直接在AA的柜台申请行李到北京吗，省去在chicago去行李的麻烦
，这样也可以之间在terminal之间走，而不用上小火车了？

minutes before taking off. Especially when u have luggage to check in.

l, there is a chance that AA flight is delayed. 2. you will need about 20 mi
nutes to get your luggage. 3. they will need to catch the train to terminal
5.
4. Recheck in luggage and get boarding pass. 5. Go through security one more
time. too many things.
I will suggest OP to either reschedule the AA flight to an early one, or jus
t drive to Chicago one day early with parents, sleep well and then catch the
HN flight on the following day.
just think about the consequence of parents not being able to catch the HN f
light, to be safe, I will not let my parents travel this way.
