她的学生andy在salk做的不错,多产,也开始在老鼠上做东西,个人觉得是唯一一个以
后可能会在应用方面找到一些突破性发现的实验室了。
其它的人研究,还在走老套路,纠着几个长期做的表型往死了做,觉得离想象中的
aging越行越远了。
如何将yeast,worm和fly里的发现和老鼠中的研究联系起来,是个挑战。做老鼠aging
的和做其它模式生物的,基本上不搭太多的边。

我觉得最近几年把aging和reproductivity联系起来的工作挺有希望的看着。。这个现象
早就知道 但是最近才有分子机理出来 要是真的搞清楚了也许能帮助我们理解aging到底
有什么precise regulation没有 Kenyon和Ruvkun labs都有些很不错的paper
我也觉得在aging和DR之间做的太多了 这个说不定会有很好的市场前景 但是说到aging
的本质DR未必能贡献很多

aging相关的疾病联系到一起,其实这些工作反应的是对aging的认识,自然也会影响到

vs 修修修,最后坏得比修得快,就谢幕了。pathway调控的和自然选择的都是修的部分。
问题应该没有这么简单,不然大家早就搞清楚了。可不可以提示一下错漏在哪里?

身而言不算breakthrough,甚至可以说没有任何理论贡献,但这条路我觉得是让aging
走出困境的正确方向,因为nature insight里的那些所谓理论几十年前就有了,
cynthia算是唯一一个有新东西的,虽然理论上也没有突破,但却是实实在在的实验数
据支持一个理论(只是这个理论天生就有缺陷),其它的都是用很牵强的间接数据支撑
着理论。
所以看这个领域很多人的工作,我看不懂不知道他们在干什么。
