When your law firm files a PERM applicaiton for you, is your signature
required on any documents? I am waiting for a prevailing wage determination
from the Department of Labor (DOL). As soon as the decision arrives, the law
firm will file the PERM application. The problem is I will go back to China
around the date when the prevailing wage determination is made. If a signature
is required for my PERM application and I am not here, does the law firm
have to wait to do it until I come back on August? I really do not want to
postpone the application. Thank you very much for your help. | l***o
发帖数: 1111 | 2 Based on my lawyer's description, your signature is for law firm office only
and not required for the application form. But the lawyer needs your
permission to submit the application. I did it several years ago and things
might have changed now. It will be safer if you directly ask your lawyer
about this issue. Good luck!

发帖数: 144 | 3 There is one section you need to sign. But you do not need to sign the
original doc. You can sign a copy and email or fax to your lawyer.I did my
Perm in Feb 2011. |
