Position Name: Packet Core Tester (SGSN,GGSN)
Location: Seattle, WA
Contract lenght: 6 months to 1 year, renewable

REQUIRED DUTIES
-Validation and QA of packet core (GGSN – Cisco/Starent, NSN SGSN)
-Validate design concept, write and execute test cases
-Maintain, operate and troubleshoot targeted systems (UMTS, GPRS Core packet
network, PCRF and Data Metering Systems)
-Conduct interoperability tests as needed
-Verification of end to end solutions and functionality, patch fixes,
software upgrade
-Create and manage test data in the data systems and support Enterprise QAT
and UAT testing.
-Introduction of new technologies
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
-Experience with Cisco/Starent GGSN and NSN SGSN
-Strong understanding of data communication, GSM networking, and OSI model
-Knowledge of 3GPP, CS1, CAMEL, UMA, UMTS, IMS, SIP, ISUP, TCP/IP protocol
suite, A-interface, IUcs, IUps, Gf, Gc, Gd, Gf, Gn, Gi, Gp, Gr, Gs and IETF
standards
-Experience in design, configuration and troubleshooting IP network switches
and routers
-Good knowledge of UMTS core technology and components
-Experience in developing test plans as well as writing and executing test
cases
-Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues for problem resolution
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
-Scripting experience using PERL, SHELL, etc. in unix environment
-Experience with various test equipments, protocol monitors, and traffic
generators, and automation tools
-Experience in validating Content Control and Optimization using Flash
Network products like Harmony Gateway.
