RD 08/11; Biometrics notice received 08/23.
I work and live in Chicago, IL, which I believe has a local or nearby
support center.
Because my mailing address for 140 and 485 is another city, the appointment
notice asked me to go to an Indiana city, which will cause me 3.5 hours one-
way driving.
Anybody has former experience? Can I walkin to a neaby location? Or what
offical procedure shall I follow to select the close location? My curr | C******T

有可能收到的时候刚好搬家. 但是我问了我的律师, 她说指纹就近按,没有关系的.
我前一段时间问过这个问题. 有人回答,说她的老公异地按了指纹,绿卡都已经收到了

发帖数: 241 | 3 When filing your I-485, you should have used the Chicago address - which is
your current address.
I suggest that you drive 3.5 hrs to get the scheduled FP done. Otherwise,
it would cause you more trouble: Updating address and get FP rescheduled etc.

发帖数: 86 | 4 Thank you for the thoughts. My husband still lives in the I-485 address,
which is "home". I rented in Chicago. For him, it is 2 hr driving to Chicago
, 1.5 hr to Indiana. Anyway, I didn't expect this inconvenience of
fingerprinting when filing I-485.
