After yesterday pouring rain (~80F), we did not see any wetness but the
dehumidifier was showing 72% RH and seems like the owner set the target to
60% RH. and it has a pipe to drain the water to outside.
Is this humidity normal? I heard anything beyond 60% RH is getting into
dangerous zone of growing mold?

发帖数: 4125 | 2 Depending on what temp, I set mine at 72 degree with RH being 40%.
No more than 50% unless very cold. Mold can grow easily at 60% RH and 80
degree temp.

even though I did not see any sign of condensation/mold.
need to check again about the humidity reading then. Thanks.
