encouraging because these are real stories recording the growth of young
doctors from day 1 in their internship to today. |

牺牲和家人在一起的时间，几个医生几年后都离婚了之类的。。。。。最后歌颂一下医
生奉献自我为病人造福点出主旋律。
恩，不大符合本版热火朝天的气氛 :P |

in China and Taiwan, during which he was studying in the Asia study major.
LOL.
I can't figure what someone said about his service to Chinese kids.

are from Harvard School of Medicine. It looks like that being in Harvard
does not provide them much advantage after certain years.
I enjoyed watching this documentary, much more than Grey's Anatomy, because
it is real. However I couldn't find a whole lot of encouragement of being a
doctor in it. |

七个人中只有两个是黑人都是女士
但是她们都离开了临床
最雷人的是其中的一个黑人女士作完住院之后就离开了临床
说她对医学临床没有兴趣
另一个黑人女士则似乎有难言之隐
现在在大药厂作研发
似乎也不是黑人的强项
他们应该是哈佛医学院91届的
还没看完
但已经强烈感受到种族歧视的味道很农

they enjoy medicine as their career.
This documentary is not very encouraging for people pursueing medical career
. Only the one doctor in ophthamology looks succeussful. The one in
anesthesiology lives a comfortable lifestyle. For other people, the
documentary does not show much joy they have in what they are doing. The one
in emergency medicine is a depressing example of life not well managed,
even if he is from Harvard

我个人最喜欢内科/预防那位，过的最真实。那一段和中国老人的故事很感人。 |

发帖数: 224 | 21 Yes I noticed that too. However this can happen to anyone and may not
necessary have something to do with practicing medicine. The one in internal
medicine was married when she was 40 and had kids afterwards. She sometimes
tends to treat her family like interns. She was idealistic when she was
young. She does not mention that she still feels like that way. Maybe she is
burned out too.
