her Z score is between -1 to -2.5, she will need vitamine D and calcium
supplement. If her Z score is below -2.5, she will need bisphosphonate
treatment.
The treatment plan may change based on her medical history, and she really
need to see a doctor.
The supplement you get OTC or online is unlikely to make a real difference
if she has severe osteoporosis.

DynaCal already contains 1000 IU Vitamin D and also Magnesium.
BTW, DynaCal is a good product from Douglas Labs, but you may find cheaper products with similar nutrients from other companies. | g*****j

very extremely low-tech, and relatively cheap. Make sure that you have the
dose right. The recommended daily dose for post-menopause women are:
Calcium 1500 mg/day, Vitamin D 800 IU/day |
