Although it is normal for the day care to protect the identity of the child
who physically hurt other children, in my child's classroom, the kids are
old enough, and immediately after I enter the room to pick up my child, they
would shout out if some one has hit my child, or if my child has hit anyone
else.
The teacher then immediately ask them not to say anything about it. LOL.
