(e) The active ingredient of Fibercon is Calcium polycarbophil. It is
indicated for constipation as well as diarrhea. Its water absorbing
properties make it useful in treatment of diarrhea. It should be taken with
plenty of water.
Just like rainflower, I initially thought the answer was D too, because I've
never seen fibercon used to treat diarrhea, but surprisingly diarrhea is an
indication of fibercon.

Doc wrote an order of Coreg CR 10 mg, PO, Daily, but we don't stock Coreg CR
10mg. We do have Coreg 3.125mg, 6.25mg. How do you rewrite this order? Does
regular Coreg have generic vision? what is the generic name of Coreg? |

发帖数: 1009 | 5 I would go ahead and substitute it for generic, unless the MD has signed it
as no substitutions allowed, and I believe coreg = carvediol.
We can keep on expanding on the question: what's the mechanism of action of
coreg, be specific & name the receptors, and also name some obvious side
effects seen with this drug (and feel free to bring out the weird ones that
you've heard your pts complaining about).

approved by FDA. Pharmacists do have right to rewrite this order. There are
no generic drugs for Coreg CR 10mg, but there are generic drugs for Coreg 3.
125mg. You can substitute brand drug Coreg 3.125mg with carvedilol 3.125mg
tablet. |

发帖数: 491 | 16 Fiber Con has a lot of Calcium in it. Tetracycline binds to bivalent ions such as calcium, Mg, thus less drug got into the body. this applies to quinolones as well. So you always wanna to educate the patient to seperate these antibiotic from multivitamin, calcium supplement and dairy product by at least 2 hours. |
