run exclusively on forefoot on
concrete -- which is what I did in Mexico City.

this for 60 years :)

我想我受伤的主要原因是大街上很不平。 trail是沥青铺的,感觉硬度跟水泥路差不多
,但是很平,往往在trail上能保持同一个姿势像机器人一样跑完一个long run。大街
上老是要跳来跳去。

。有一次跑了一个tempo后,姿势发生了变法,发现稍微快一点就midfoot landing, 慢
下来就脚后跟着地了。我那时候还想,以后速度再快,说不定就自然的前脚掌着地了。

days when I warm up for a run, I always start with forefoot strike, and
switch to midfoot later. The reason is that forefoot strike offers maximal
protection on the joints, and that is particularly important when I'm not
fully warmed up.
