care and other several thousand other pretax perks, you need almost $300K
before tax income to start to feel the effect.
AMT is a more real tax in fact.

average person get same absolute amount. If he ignores that, he is likely
biased.

pointed out long long ago. That is the fundamental issue of Capitalism,
namely most of the profit was grabbed buy business owners. Middle class has
less and less profit and thus purchasing power to keep the economy growing.
In the past 30 years, middle class stretched by 1) more borrowing using
credit 2) woman going out to work to keep the consumer spending strong. But
now it seems both won't continue to work anymore.

i tell you what is the truth, public service got cut because public sector
employee salaries go higher and higher, public sector pension liability
grows higher and higher. Those money suppose to go to the schools on kids, all go to public unions.
