Airport Extreme (router), Time Capsule (router + HD so it holds Time Machine
backup) and Apple TV will become ONE product. I would call it iCenter or
something. Once Apple decides to enter the gaming industry, it would also
replace things like PS or Xbox.
Apple would concur my living room with a complete solution, with a minimun
number of peices. It could be: iPhone + iPad + iCenter + iScreen. The
iCenter and iScreen could be further combined as iTV (basically a TV sized
iMac). The iCenter (topbox) way gives user the ability to use other TVs,
while iTV replaces the combination of 1) TV 2) router 3) apple tv 4) home
server (HD backup and other media storage) 5) gaming device.
Once this happens (total living room occupation), they would ‘reinvent’
other home appliances. | y****o
