标 题: Passat 2.0T 2006 Code P2181 cooling system performance

Engine灯亮了，读出来是这个代码，网上有不少说法，基本就是thermostat 或coolant
temp sensor的问题，也有人说换了这两样都没管用。去低了那里挨宰之前问问万能的

貌似升温正常，温度也稳定在正常水平。没有看过风扇是否坏了，这个怎么检查，要看
哪个风扇？
要检查thermostat就只有拆开换了才能确认了吧，好像这个车换thermostat不是很容易。

发帖数: 4125 | 11 My guess is your thermostat is leaking, if you don't have tools (vag-com), I
would replace the thermostat first (very cheap). If that does not fix, find
someone with vag-com and measure the actual coolant temp and compare to
what is reported by the sensor. replace the sensor if bad.

感觉就是换个thermostat，东西便宜，但是人工很贵，挺费时间的。dealer要550块，
另外一家专修德国车的s2 dynamics 要283块。估计是要到他家去修了。

look like a bad thermostat. Check your coolant level first. Always try from
the simplest possibilities. |

But I believe you only need to take two bolts off to replace the thermostat,
should not take more than 30 min (more like a 10 min job if you have easy
access to it)
Here is another way (may not be 100% correct) you can test if thermostat is
bad or not. Reset the light when car is cold and outside is cold (in the
morning), drive for a while until light come back on. Continue to drive for
a while (until car is fully warmed up). Reset the light again, continue to
drive (at least the time take for light to come on first time). If light
does not come on this time, your thermostat is bad, or leaking. If the light
come on again after car is warmed up, your coolant temp sensor is bad. This
method is 90% correct, but it is best you find someone with a vag-com tool
in the area. (most people with the tool are somewhat an expert on vw).

the thermostat.

If you are close to a timing belt change, you might want to get them done at
the same time to save some labor cost. (that is if you plan to keep the car
for long time)

，咿，灯自己就灭了。加好油，灯也没有再亮，晚上打球回来等还是不亮，看来是自己
就好了，省了几百大洋啊。
在网上看到过有人说碰到一样的问题，他朋友就是把他的邮箱盖紧了紧就好了。以为是
玩笑，看来这玩意还真是跟油箱有关系，不过我这个光紧油箱盖不灵，我前两天真试过
，没用。今天是把油用得差不多了，好了。
还有，那个车版比咱版差远了，这个帖子没有一个建议，纯商业版，没有技术含量。呵

girl and boy). I really enjoy working with my dad as a little girl.

On really cold day, coolant will warm up very slowly, you will not have much
heat, and car could go into limp mode (you can not drive very fast).

我也去查过，这车换thermostat挺麻烦，自己搞的想法已经否定了。
