就给了老板一盒。盒子略为有点大，没办法，家里都是那么大盒的
老板拿到茶叶很高兴，但是马上说“xxx，我招你来，不是为了别的，是因为你的工作
好...”然后老板说他平时也很喜欢喝茶。也立马打开盒子。说这么大盒茶叶啊。
结果老板回家没有把茶叶带走，倒是放在桌上好几天，过了几天才带走的。（他坐在
cubic里，别人要经过，仔细看，肯定知道那个大盒子是中文，我们整个department，
就我一个中国人）
现在突然收到老板的一个meeting schedule : xxx, we need to go over a few
things from ethics survey. it should take about 30 minutes.
我以为每个人都有meeting，结果查了一下老板的calendar,只有我有

everyone...at least everyone in your group and not just your boss.
Management are very sensitive to "bribery"...I remember when I came back
from a visit to China, I bought cookies and tea leaves as souvenirs for my
coworkers...I offered it to my boss and he was like "No, thanks." but once I
told him "Everyone in the group tried it and they love it...." Then he was
like "Oh, if that's the case...let me try it too!!"
Yeah, it cost more to get souvenirs for everyone but you don't want to be
labeled as "the brown nose" in your work place by only giving "goodies" to
your boss either....
Explain it to your boss that you thought he might wants to try some tea from China
and you want to apologize if you sent out the wrong message. |

不过最好之前和老板的关系比较好，而且老板帮过你的忙。

我常在office放点十二生肖剪纸，中国结啥的。遇到熟的同事经过，就让人家挑一个。
倒是没人举报。
我没觉得送一盒茶叶给老板有啥大问题啊。当然想巴结是肯定的。
难道要直接送家里去？

校教授也喜欢，呵呵。
一次是大老板让我给带东西，然后20刀的东西塞给我60刀，后来关系更好了再送也不提
钱了，呵呵。

发帖数: 26 | 19 Don't worry. Show the HR receipt for less than $20
for the gift if you work for the government. Otherwise,
just honestly state you don't have any presumed bad intention.
If they still try to give you tough time, that means they
don't like you at all. This company is not the right place
where you can stay long or make you grow - find a better place
to develop your career.
This also implies that your team lead/boss are playing "two-face"
role and she/he will not have "gut" to take care of you once you
make mistake at work in the future. She/he will definitely
draw a clear line and get rid of you if you happen to screw up.
If she/he is a honest and responsible leader, she/he should
immediately reject your present at the first place or returned you
the gift later on and pretend nothing happened - she/he should not
play this type of game instead– this is not a good sign. It
shows your boss might not be the right one you can follow from
your deep heart (at least can never be the buddy - buddy).
Keep good distance and be cautious when you deal with her/him.
Just my two cents and hope you feel better.

并且签字，说我认真阅读了并且理解了培训材料，不然就要被迫走人。
老板写信的时候不说什么事，把我吓了一大跳

如果是小事，除非老板很讨厌你，一般都会保你的。
不过适当的送礼，确实能够拉近和老板同事的关系。
