1. "You may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to good
performance by you and the company and your remaining actively employed with
the company at the time bonuses are paid"
这个是正常条款吗？金融公司都只有discretionary bonus，没有target rate？一般是
什么时候发奖金呢？
2. "Your employment with the company is at-will. The company may terminate
your employment at any time for any reason or no reason. If you terminate
your employment voluntarily, you agree to give the company no less than four
weeks advance written notice".
这个似乎不太平等？公司可以随时让你走，但你走时必须提前四周通知公司。
3. If you terminate your employment voluntarily or the company terminates
your employment for "cause" before the H1B visa is granted or within 24
months following approval of H1B visa, you will be responsible for repaying
the company 100% of the cost associated with the H1B (excluding the ACWIA
fee). After the completion of 24th month up to and include the completion of
36th month following approval of the H1B visa, you will be responsible for
50% of the cost.
两年内自愿离职要付公司的全部H1B费用，三年内付一半，这个是不是也太久了？ |

into offer letter although normally they offer verbally and they stick to it
.
2. Normal. Every company does this.
3. Asking back H1B fee looks cheap to me. How much is it? 1000$? I guess if
it's illegal, you can leave it there and when you feel they want to lay off
you, sue them. As long as the legal action is pending, they have to keep you
on their payroll (that's what I heard). So it's a pretty good safety net
for you. :) but don't take my words. Ask some attorney. |
