. I was told that they don't care about my Master's or PhD degree. They only
evaluate my Chinese Bachelor's degree. I was so scared that I just gave up.
The CPEES evaluation is ridiculous.
In my opinion, NCEES should change the evaluation rule as follows:
If somebody has an advanced degree (Master's or PhD or both) from an US ABET
university, the evaluation of his/her foreign Bachelor's degree should be
waived.

can waive the Toefl requirement if you have advanced degree from US. Some
rules are not on the paper.
One example is NJ PE, based on the application looks like I need Toefl. I
called the board for confirmation of the required score. Then I was told
Toefl is not required for me as I have US master degree.
ABET recently changed the rule to certify both BS and MS programs. In the

years after you received your phd ”为什么是这么算的呢？难道是因为只有phd是

credits. They simply multipled credits of math/basic science credits from my
transcripts by 2/3.They don't care how many weeks per semester in China,
they don't care how many classes per 4 or 3-credit class.I'm sure their rule
is that total credits must be around 120(124?) credits for a 4-year program
.It is the USA rule.
no way to get a ABET accredited bachelor degree.

As I mentioned before, even your degree is not equivalent to ABET, you still
get great change to meet State Board requirements. You can claim you have
more classes during your post-bachelor degree, you have professional
publications (paper),...........

converting all credits from Chinese Universities to 120 credits of US
universities.He mentioned some states might accept advanced course credits

经常看到论坛上有人说FE考试“EASY，高中的内容，简单，只需要半个月准备”等等。我的
意见是：FE考试本身的确不难，但是要注意这样几点事实：
1.加州08年4月通过率48.25%（所有考生）http://www.pels.ca.gov/applicants/ap08eit.shtml
注意：
Although engineers from non-ABET programs do take the FE exam, NCEES does not report
their passing rates，所以我们从NCEES看到的成绩（大于70%）不包含所有考生的成绩！
2. 覆盖面广
3. 题量大
4. 再简单的题目如果你没有复习到或者连题目中的概念都不知，还“简单”吗？
5. 我们的课程设置没有老美那么全，而且我们中很多人估计把本科的课程忘的差不多
了，更别提高中的东西了。老美本科生则不一样，很多东西还记忆犹新。
6. 有些人可能只是看了几眼数学题就得出“简单”的结论。可以先做一整套FE考试的
模拟题看看。

评估的时候会将总学分转换成美国的120学分，而且所有的课程也会分类，再按比例转
换。因此，中国学位基本上不可能符合ABET要求。不知道AACRAO是按照什么原则来评估
的？AACRAO网站根本找不到此类信息，而且电话还是留言电话。女怕嫁错郎，男怕入错

It doesn't say anything related to waiver of FE with a Ph.D. Degree or
taking PE test with Ph.D. without any experience.
The articles you cited mean that any Master/Ph.D. from ABET University with
another 1-year experience can meet the experience requirement. But it doesn'
t mean anything regarding the waiver of FE.
The second paragraph should apply to those APs in Universities.

我的背景：在中国念的四年本科结构专业，在国内有大概十年工作经验，在美国没有念
过书也没有工作过，准备在加州申请EIT。
1. 在http://www.bpelsg.ca.gov/applicants/eit_lsitapp.shtml看到three years or more of postsecondary (college-level) engineering education，我的理解是既然board没有强调必须在美国受到至少三年工程教育，并且没有强调需要ABET认证学历，那我通过FE后，用在国内的这四年本科教育背景不需要任何学历认证就可以在加州申请EIT，这样理解对不对？
2. FE上午考试只有一份试卷，下午会根据不同专业分若干种试卷，其中学结构的一
般选civil这个分项或者general分项,就是在http://ncees.org/exams/fe-exam/显示的other disciplines，对吗？

验了。
我没有做国内本科学位的credential evaluation,所以用了PHD的学位。本来可以抵两
