something more actively?
I have been writing letters to the senators and representative of NJ and MA
and have received responses from all of them.
I just wrote them again a week ago urging them to provide urgently needed H-
1B and EB green card relief in the post-election lame duck session. The
lame duck offers the last chance this year to fix this growing crisis!

The attendees of the AILA Conference on 09/28/2007 report that the total EB-
485 application which were received relating to the July VB fiasco turned
out to be approximately 800,000. Unbelievably, this number is close to 750,
000 we predicted when July VB broke out. The numbers are reportedly broken
out as follows:
320,000 stand alone 485 applications
40,000 concurrently filed 485 applications
About 400,000 485 applications |

1. Professional and excellent knowledge in immigration policy. As you may

这位来在UK的： “We filed I140 for EB1C in February. Attorney raised SR in
August (after 6 months) and got a reply within 2 weeks (and a LUD) saying
that "Case is assigned to an Officer". We then heard nothing and so raised
inquiry with AILA Liaison at TSC at end Sept and have heard nothing.
Called TSC last week and was told that case was assigned to an officer on
11/16 and should hear soon. Heard nothing to date, getting very

印两国的EB-2签证名额已用完，没有更多的签证名额供这两国的申请人使用。移民局目
前将继续接受那些排期已到的身份调整申请。不过，I-485申请人要等到2012财年（从
2012年10月1日开始）开始有新的签证名额后才能获批拿到绿卡。
那么，是不是所有的485申请（之前递交的，包括去年递交485的），也要等到下半年10

我和老婆的485都在美国递交了。我老婆没有等打指纹就回国了，AP也没有等到，但是
她的H4还在有效期内。我是前几天到local office办了加急AP打完指纹回国的。现在我
们都在国内，我是穿越发帖。我老婆也可以用有效的H4身份会美国，只要我没有绿（按
照现在这个速度，估计到10月份都是不会绿的）。但是因为她家里面的事，她不想急着
回美国，所以才有了上面第一个问题。
昨天我美国的朋友告诉我，我和老婆的正常AP都寄到了。当然我是不需要了，不知道她
的AP还有效吗？这样是最理想的了，我几天后回回美国就把她的AP快递回来。大家讨论
看看。
