1. 重新喷一层texture上去把老的那层盖住，然后上新油漆封起来。
2. 换drywall，重做texture，油漆。
1当然花费小，但是风险只是被盖起来了，而不是消失了。如果住个三五年问题应该不
大。不过石棉时间越长，deteriorating的可能性越高，墙要是裂了破了就有麻烦。 |

过去船舶上的隔热层（墙体和蒸汽管路）都是用石棉的，而且不是象房子这样被油漆和
PLASTER包住的，也没听说有多少海员得LUNG CANCER死掉的。

其实楼主没啥错，如果花个一万块钱可以干净搞掉，手头又不差这
一万块的话，搞掉也没啥，就当一个 insurance。当然，不搞掉也

have 石棉, but it may have VOC or bad smell issue. The famous "Chinese
drywall" is one example. Some research says drywall made in US may also have
this issue.
Go to homedepot, and smell the new drywall there. I don't know if the smell
is harmful or not, but at least unpleasant. |

4. vinyl floor，
5. attic insulation 材料，
6. 壁炉 insulation 材料。
有专业公司检查。网上google一下Synergy Environment Inc，他们上门来查，每一个
sample50刀，包含一份单独的报告，里面有成分比例。
83年或者最晚85年以后的房子应该就不需要查了，78年以前生产的含石棉建筑料材库存
应该消耗完了。 |

point.
For my case, I ordered a total asbestos cleanup before move in, it costed
something like $2500. But so far I heard only I did this.
One thing worths to do is to ask inspector to get samples from wall/ceiling
and lab test it. At least you will know whether it is safe to disturb these
places like putting a nail in to hang pictures or opening recessed lights in
the future.

btw, here is some testing service I used: search Jossam air testing kit.
it's a DIY kit, you send sample to a lab in MN, they do TEM test for you,
much cheaper than the companies here. |

included removing the asbestos tape from the duck. Total cause is about 9.5k
for 95% high efficient HAVC. They took care of the PGE energy upgrade
california rebate,which PGE paid me 3500. Also OSH gave 600 gift card. The
net for me is about 6k. Your system seems old, you may be able to get 3k
rebate as well. |

情况是这样的,好不容易选好了apt, 但是读lease的时候里面提到了这个区有prop 65
warning,因为含有asbestos 和 lead。上网查了一下貌似加州很多老房子都可能有石棉
和铅，但是不知道apartment出现这个prop 65 warning常见吗？ 目前住在外州所以对
加州的情况不太了解。

company remove. 一般几千刀. electricity应该不是太大的事. |

态上看像石棉的东西。
真正管用的是 tem 电子显微镜， 有很少的 vendor 可以做 |
