有可能是没有LOAD充分,而且刚开始还是快了。
不过训练总是有用的,这段的训练也给芝加哥的比赛打好基础了。
困,一夜没睡,钻被窝去了。=)

For me I really need to eat more than what I feel like the day before the
race. You have to be a pig. Especially for active tapering, you just have to
eat, eat eat.

The weather is actually pretty good, if I had made to my plan I would have
dodged most of the thunder, but crampted badly on mile 17 and walked a lot
from mile 17 to 24, this is new to me now I am officially a member of Mark's
cramp club.
Not a big deal, just a race, I will do better next time. Stuck in parking
lot now, will submit my report once I get back home.

I recommend Nuun, which is not so sweet. I carry a bottle of 12oz water
with Nuun in marathon.

Speed makes all the difference. Gatorade is not enough. You need gels, lots
of gels. The best option is hammer perpetuem, if you can get a hold of it.
It could help if you fully hydrate with hammer perpetuem instead of water
before the race. You don't get cramps for no reason, and cramps can be
avoided.

比赛的时候多喝点gatorade, 的确可能可以帮助防治抽痉。。anyway, not bad at all,

谢谢关心,没事,500年一遇的大洪灾啊,周末时高速都成河了,有MOBILE HOUSE 在高速上
漂.我还不知死活地出去SHOPPING,差点没回成家.不少同事家水都没到房顶了,还没买
FLOOD INSURANCE,这下庆幸买房买在了地势高的地方.SIGH,一片泽国啊,不知多少人要
丢工作了,太惨了.

不要这样吗。怪只怪店小二推荐的不好。我就是一直穿stability的Mizuno Wave Nexus
2,后来又穿Nexus 3,从来没有严重的伤。两周前买了neutral的Brooks Ghost,刚跑了
一次就ITBS了。Asura,这可是你推荐的,我要找你讨还血债。:-)
不过前一阵感冒,身体状态不好,所以没准不是鞋的原因。而且刚换neutral,可能要有
个适应过程。过两天再试试看。

昨天跟Asura讨论半天,
还是决定把110能不能有实时速度/pace的信息搞清楚。
REI太远,就决定给Garmin consumer support打电话。
一个lady很热心,她先是很positive可以,
后来我说那为啥网上这么多review都说不行哩,
她于是动揺了,随手抓了个110去试了几分钟,
回来说,不好意思,还真是平均速度,不是实时的。
她也很纳闷为什么会这样。。。说以后会给工程师们反映这个问题。
哼哼。。。我郁闷死了。。。

一般是recovery在跑步机跑,其他早上路跑。
世界杯期间可以考虑多点在gym里跑。:)
我起得没asura他们早,6点多就不错了。
其实80度以下也可以接受啊,也不能太娇嫩。
等到了秋天天凉下来,成绩自然会提高的。

I guess it was partially due to underperformance in races? Asura has trained
very hard, consistently at 60+
mpw week in and week out. Really should have BQ'd. I have never done back to
back 60+ miles weeks.

谢谢横眉,这两种看起来很不错。
跟骑车不一样,跑步时汗吹干得会比较慢。Asura说的跑步擦汗的问题,应该是无解。
习惯了就好了
我打算进两副了。纽约的xdjm们,有没有和我团购的?

nose piece -- gives enough distance from the face so sweat won't get on the
lens; light weight; and most importantly, dirt cheap ($6) -- buy a bunch
with different lenses. I have been using these glasses for almost two years
now, for both running and cycling (including a half Ironman last year),

第一个马拉松还是follow一个novice plan之类的,不要自己乱跑。
你说你想上下班跑,以后想能够跑个半马的距离,对于新手,还是太了。而且你还想上
下班都跑。你去看看那些新手训练计划,就是在peak week,也最多是一次10迈。
这个我有教训,去年asura一再提醒,我还听不进去。结果在自己跑马拉松还有15个星
期前,我就跑了一次20迈。结果后来就这伤那痛的,最后连五小时都没有跑进去。
另外10%不是可以一直持续的,如果你现在跑26,四周后那就是38了,对于新手,还是
太aggressive了。

我看到过一篇文章,说以前没有什么stablity shoe,比较多的plantar fasciitis,
ITBS不多。但高跟的stablity shoe开始流行以后,ITBS一下就多了不少。这里穿
stablity 的asura, 小龙都得过很重的ITBS,mark也得过,我穿GTS,去年也得过。

to 3:30 in chicago, which i will run asura's name
